I never saw the full version of her Showgirl Homecoming..

but I do own a copy of her Showgirl 2005 tour..

I thought that Showgirl 2005 was well executed.. and is my favorite concert that I've seen so far.. until I see the X2008 tour..

but I think this was the best rendition of light years.. that and loveboat were my favs on Live in Sydney

I agree with this. The new show in America doesn't make sense..The Skull was for "Like a Drug". I mean, the Kylie cake OR this walk-down would've been better than the mishmash of leftovers and bad arrangements we got here. Don't get me wrong, it was still a good show here in the US but did little to convert anyone to her fandom. We waited 20 years to see her best and we got C-grade at best. The dancers were way off. It was basically a laser light and sound show with Kylie accompanment.

Anyways,although she has global success,it's a shame she isn't more popular here in Canada.

The Sydney Live concert DVD is a must have. When you play it on a great sound system (surround and all) and watch it on Plasma its fantastic. This song I play the most. It puts the hairs on your neck on end. Really a great song/DVD to lay on the couch and cuddle up with someone special for a night.

Its relief too. This concert was very slick and the performances of all concerned from backing singers, dancers, bass guitar guy, accoustic guitar guy, drummer just gelled. A great concert. If you want a great Kylie DVD then Sydney 2001 is the one. Her Manchester Concert was very tired compared to this one.
