This is the alternate Superman (the Justice Lords version). Also, we never find out if Luthor really died in the last episode, so until we see an actual tomb we have to assume he's still alive.

They're not supposed to be the Crime Syndicate. Bruce Timm was going to do an animated movie to bridge the gap between Justice League and JLU, and the Crime Syndicate were going to be the bad guys in that.

These guys are more like commentary on the scads of heroes that kill, in particular The Authority.

Because Ultraman isnt Kryptonian, he was human until an acident where these aliens tried to remake him, but it kinda went wrong. and Anti-Kryptonite is where he gets his powers!! sinc ehes from the anti-matter universe !

Actually, it depends on which Ultraman you are talking about. The Pre-Crisis Ultraman was indeed a Kryptonian who for some reason never explained gained powers from Kryptonite. The antimatter Ultraman got his powers from Anti-Kryptonite and we don't have much data on the new post-Infinite Crisis Ultraman of the new Earth-3.
