thats very funny... hey hey, some many people heard about the devil his name is anton szandor lavey his high priest of the church of satan. you can check google "anton szandor lavey "
The song and stop motion are on point. I may have watched this 20 times in the last year. I can't say that about any other videos on the tube. Awesome
haha, thats very funny. yeah it was awesome, hey hey, i heard about real devil his name " anton szandor lavey " you can check google. HE don't believe in GOD or LIKEDEVIL ! how interesting.
Hahah, well the fleet foxes already have a really well done stop motion animated video for another song, and also I don't do requests really, unless the band asks me to do it, as these are official videos. Thanks for asking though! I am glad you like my work.
hey I want more info, what frame rate to do you shoot at? How many lights do you use and what type? If you are using bolts through their feet, what is the ground made from? how do you cover up the holes without the covering surface shifting around?
I shot this at 24 frames per second. As for lights I used 4 or 3, depending, and literally I used the lights I had in my room in various combinations. Reading lamps, desk lamps, whatever. Totally not rather professional, ahah. As for the ground it is all foamboard covered in a thin layer of clay to make it look like the desert. And whenever a hole was made I just covered it with more clay to hide it, yep.
Thanks! Yeah I think it's my fave too, certainly of all my stop motion stuff, as it's the first one using a tie-down system which allows for actual walk cycles!
Charles, you are such a talented person, I really love this clip, any narrative stop motions in the works? My music video is very close to completion, will post it asap.
Aw thanks, glad you dug it! I always appreciate your nice comments. As for longer narratives, not at the moment. I have been dabbling in the music videos for they allow me to try more random stuff out on a smaller scale. As for bigger animations...not at the moment, but certainly in the future! And I look forward to your new video, yes!
Thank you! Glad you liked it. Yeah, these puppets are my first more 'professional' ones, if I can say that, you know? As they are not clay, but rather made from multiple latex coats and paint and fabric and all. Fun stuff to make!
the song sucks from the point on where he starts singing but the beginning is soo nice
