no its not robin hoods grave.That stone is actually victorian the actuall hill its self is where robin hood is burid but no one really knows where abouts..the origanal one was stolen and moved to nottingham or something thats why people think he was from there...their is proof in our history books and (forgot what its called) book for tax in them days that the guy was from huddersfield..go up its haunted as fuck

Woah, let's not start any more legends... The grave here is too far away from the Gatehouse for an arrow to reach. BUT human bones were found during 20th century plumbing works, and where an arrow from the gatehouse was likely to fall! No-one knows what happened to those bones.
