  • Sorry, I don't know why I need to make it public : I don't find Melanie Laurent hot or anything like that kind; if you want arguments, just try to understand why I don't like her.

But I sure like this piece of music. Great piece of music.

    Goodbye

  • co musí člověk prožít či prožívat, aby byl schopen vytvořit takovou nádheru?pro mě je ennio jedním z nejlepších umělců kteří se kdy po této planetě prošli.....

  • Musical orgasm 0:00 to 2:38 :]

  • 36 fails !

  • This song reminds me of the anime Gunbuster.

  • great movie...brilliant soundrack and the hot lady of french cinema...melanie laurent..thanks for that video!!!

  • i cam 238 times to this

  • When Shosanna shot him...this music started and i was thinkin about a common sad love scene where the girl comforts the guy or...say something to him on his last breath...but then..."GUNSHOTS"!! And i was like...What the f...???????

  • @asimdude007008 i know right? lol

  • Better to get shot dead than burn alive, right?

  • anyone else feel bad for frederick?

  • @drroxxo1 Me...

  • always visit to the tune, sounds relaxing

  • Best scene EVER! :)

  • listen the bass....God! what a way to make music ! grande Ennio!

  • Cried like a bitch in this scene. Soshanna shoots him, and then looks at the screen. And then back to him. She sees him as a person for the first time. There's a real look of regret on her face. She goes over to him. She was going to apologize and probably comfort him. Maybe even explain why she did it. But Frederick shoots her with his last ounce of strength. Totally tragic.

  • @harizotoh7 thats what i did and felt when i watched the scene also ...

  • @harizotoh7 shut the fuck up

  • deoxys... The part where Shosanna shoots the guy and gets shot herself. The most beautiful and sad scene in the movie but the most beautiful song ever. mean jesus christ that string section brings a tear to my eye every time.

  • deoxys... The part where Shosanna shoots the guy and gets shot herself. The most beautiful and sad scene in the movie but the most beautiful song ever.

  • in what part of the movie is this song used?

  • Hot would not be aappropriate word for Melanie Laurent.. She is really beautiful... If got gift me with ababy girl i wish her to be as beautiful as Melanie Laurent .....the way she acted was owsome.. i might have seen her expressions 1000 times repeating the same peace of clip again and again...Melanie Laurent if you read my comment.. i have some thing to admit...hats off to you...you have really taken my heart away..specially the clip when you shoot Zoller...Wish you best of luck..

  • germany had other things to think about other than some .

  • Are there other versions of this on youtube?

  • Best movie and music :)

  • Thank you Ennio. T.T

    Thank you Tarantino.

  • i can not find an arrangement of this for piano or guitar :( if some one knows it or has one or knows where to get one, can you please let me know???? thanks a lot

  • Mélanie Laurent looks so good in this scene

  • Momentary pity......BANG......Payback.

  • this scene was epic and full of drama

  • Shoshanna never deserved it. She should have killed every german for revenge for killing her family.

  • @krakenmichael every german?

  • @krakenmichael Every hardcore member of the Nazi Party, you mean. Not all Germans back then were Nazis, including the regular German Wehrmacht military. Do you really think that the vast population of Germans at that time should have been killed just because of the slaughtering of one Jewish family? Granted, a lot of innocent Jews were killed, but two wrongs don't make a right.

  • @Transformers2themax True, but 3 lefts make a right....... : /

  • @ashofallchins *rolls eyes*.

  • @Transformers2themax A vast majority of the German population was a member of the Nazi party, and during the pre WWII Nazi regime, when policies began to become increasingly extreme, such as the seperation of Jews from the rest of society followed by the sending of them to 'work camps', there was little to no opposition. Almost all of the German people were indoctrinated. Just arguing your point on 'not all germans nazi'

  • @TomasvdW *rolls eyes*. I hate to use the "You're an idiot because you disagree with me" that lots of folks do; but in this situation, it seems necessary. I'm not gonna call you names, but you ARE being quite ignorant. Do your research. "Nazi" refers to any official member of the Nazi Party or with similar beliefs. Not all Germans were members. A lot were tricked into it, but most German soldiers hated Hitler. Our president is a democrat, does that make every American a democrat? No.

  • @Transformers2themax If this were the case, how come there was absolutely no opposition to Hitler? The Catholic Church was the only main one and it wasn't able to do much.

  • @TomasvdW Yeah, because anyone would dare publicly oppose Nazi rule. They didn't have the right to bear arms. No one unless they were in the military had firearms. There was an exception of underground resistances and quite a few treasonous spies though. And actually, if you read your history, some Catholics were victims of the Holocaust as well. Not to brag, but you're arguing with the nephew of a former WWII German Infantrymen reenactor with degrees in history. Kind of senseless you're being.

  • @Transformers2themax

I agree completely with transformers, not all germans were nazis. Yes a great percentage of germans were nazis, but to put them all in the same basket is incorrect.

  • @cartman108743 Thank you! Finally, someone who actually uses logic rather than "Oh, I saw it in SPR" and all the other stereotypes and pro-American lies. I mean, I'm American and even I believe the Germans had a far superior military. Hitler was their fuhrer and that caused a lot of the battles to be won by the Americans, under the command of Patton. Had he not let his ego get to him, Nazi Germany may have won. And really, there is no agreeing or disagreeing. It's just plain logic, ya know?

  • @Transformers2themax i agree well said

  • italian pride... grazie Ennio

  • gay

  • I think I take up at least 100 of these views lol

  • brilliant scene

  • Though she died, I felt happy knowing her campaign for revenge had been fufilled. Au-revoir shosanna.....

  • Shosanna deserved it.

  • NOOOO, SHOSANNA!!!!!! ;( ;( ;(

  • Прекрасная музыка, печальная история несостоявшейся любви...

  • MORRICONE FOR LIFE!!!!!

  • For me, the best element of Inglorious Bastards :)

  • I can't believe I have seen Inglorious Basterds 7 times and I do not know that Ennio was responsible for the music.

  • I have to be careful with this song, if I listen to it once, I feel compelled to hit 'replay' for a good solid hour or so

  • Musical orgasm 1:17 to 1:27

  • @Shananigan11 deffo best part of the song wish that bit lasted longer!

  • @Shananigan11 musical orgasm 0:00 to 2:38

    :P

  • @Shananigan11 Musical orgasm 0:00 to 2:38

  • @Shananigan11 its what got me to fall in love with the song

  • @Shananigan11 Musical orgasm 0:00 to 2:38

  • In or out of context with the movie, this is the best thing I've ever heard.

  • Reminds me of some murky forgotten moment of my childhood that shaped me into the person I am now.

  • Ennio Morricone The best

  • my fave score, and my fave scene from Inglourious Basterds

  • Noooo! He has a gun!! Don´t turn him around!!

  • Quentin, Quentin, Quentin, what a director you are! What a blend with your classy Inglourious Basterds remake!

  • @charms71 Not a remake, he just borrowed the title.

  • @GilbertSmith true!

  • Melanie Laurent is hot xD

  • @rockyfan94 Yes she is...yes she is.

  • The way Tarantino implemented this song was flawless -- so poetic and lyrical and bitingly tragic. For all his blood and gore and profanity, Tarantino has a poet's soul

  • I felt bad for both Shoshanna and Zoller...

  • whenever i hear this... I feel empty

  • Although i'm a jew, i kinda feel bad for BOTH of them...

  • zoller was kinda cool oh no wait he was a NAZI.

  • Everyone says that this song is from Inglorious Basterds, but really it first was heard in the movie revolver, every song from Inglorious Basterds has already been used in another movie.

  • Shoked me up, love this song thank you Ennio

  • @reth1313 Jeez man, get a grip. Crying isn't neccessary

  • How the FUCK can anyone dislike this!? Incredible...

  • 32 people got killed by Stiglitz

  • thats the song that comes out when "Zee German" is shooting her lungs out:)

  • ;D

  • From Revolver directed by Sergio Sollima

  • Anybody knows what movie this music was originally used in?

Don't recognize it from any of the westerns Ennio Morricone scored.

  • @McLarenMercedes Revolver (1973), by Sergio Sollima

  • @RevolverLab

    Thanks.

  • 1:17-1:27 love that part:)

  • I think I loved the Fredrick and Shosanna's scene because of this song. It's just, wow.

  • Epic movie, epic song

  • Ennio, you crazy bastard; this shit touches my soul deep in places that aren't usually touched...

  • i wish shoshanna lived. i don't see why she needed to die :(

  • @SuperCupcakeKatie Me too... I actually wish Zoller would have lived too.. I kinda liked him o;

  • @CaptivatingPower i thought he was kinda cool. i think waltereg0 summed it up best with his comment.

  • @SuperCupcakeKatie Mhh I agree

  • @SuperCupcakeKatie Yeah, but even if Zoller hadn't shot her, then she would've died when her Cinema went up in flames. Her and Marcel where ready to sacrifice themselves, Shoshanna for her revenge and Marcel for the woman he loved. They wouldn't have been able to even get out, or at least not without much difficulty.

  • This soundtrack should be in The Godfather, the part where Sonny Corleone got shot in the toll booth, but do it in slow motion to get the feeling

  • THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS IF ANYONE FALLS IN LOVE WITH A NAZI !

  • @deepakina She didn't fall in love with him, you stupid cunt.

  • @WaxedLegs hahaha

  • @deepakina Nazis were people too...uh, well, most of the time.

  • I don't understand how he can make a Kill Bill Vol 3 when Bill's already dead. Tarantino should choose a different name, but obviously keep the film the same

  • @RGFoster1

he'll do something awesome with it ^^

  • So powerful, especially @1:17 where she turns her head and is dead.

  • nice and cool movie..watched 3 times in webmovietube

  • Tarantino, the most unoriginal person in the world.

  • @suzannedrakie The Anon on those "Best Film Ever" threads on a certain 4chan's /b/oard were tough with you when you came up with this awful trolling, weren't they?.

  • @ElChanateRifa What? The only one who trolls is Tarantino, he trolls all of you and none of you even know and best but not least, care.

  • c'mon, shosanna - it's called the double tap! D:

  • Zoller wanted to have his way with her?. WTF, He was not going to rape her people.

I think Zoller got angry because she was rude to him.

  • "This is the face... Of the Jewish vengeance!"

    Said by a Catholic...

  • Those who disliked this video have no soul (aka. are Nazis), what a shame...

  • Comment removed

  • @screamtangerine i did. i've told people how the scene was actually quite romantic, but they didn't seem to get it. i think had shoshana and fredrick lived in another time they might have been friends or lovers, but they had to kill each other, they were victims of their time

  • does anyone know if Tarantino's already planning on making a new movie :/

  • @mizzrammstein

    Oh Now! Now!

every good movie in its time!

  • @mizzrammstein kill bill 3

  • @mizzrammstein Django Unchanged. About a former slave who seeks revenge against his former slave master. Set in a spaghetti western style.

  • This is honestly the greatest piece of music I have ever heard in my entire life. Pure. Fucking. Genius. Ennio Morricone, I salute you! :]

  • great music from the film revolver starring Oliver reed

  • Cannibal Holocaust... ANYONE? I love Tarantino and Inglourious Basterds was PHENOMENAL! Best movie of that year, but lets not forget hte greatest movie, Cannibal Holocaust!

  • What the fuck is with all of the Zoller/shosana couple shit? She couldnt stand him in the slightest bit, thats like saying Pepe Lepeu and the cat were in love

  • I watched this movie last night. Then i watched grand tarino. Tarantino Has his own style of directing. its amazing

  • my fav movie

  • i love how it 1:17 plays when the camera is hovering over their dead bodies. the song is so unfitting which makes it amazing.

  • Jews must feel conflicted about Israel's actions, i love Jews, but Zionist Israel is complete bullshit.

  • Damn Zionist dickheads

  • @jazzsnazz FUCK YOU YOU INSIDE OUT SKINHEAD.

  • Ennio Morricone est "Un Amico"

  • Gorlami

  • this part of the movie almost made me cry...

  • I agree with OrangeTealSky's comment. Zoller was only interested in having his way, even though he was superficially polite at first, he new he had the last say in the situation being part of the occupying force & all. He could at any time he chose, made an example out of Shoshanna if he wished. Case in point: when he forced his way into the projection room. Zoller was an ass and got what he deserved. Too bad Shoshanna felt remorse about shooting him or she would've lived.

  • Anyone here ever seen the original film this music is from? It is called "Revolver", and is a bad-ass 70s shoot-em-up film with Oliver Reed. I like "Basterds", by the way, but I like the other film, too.

  • @dkelly26666 no it's not. it's a sergio sollima movie

  • @cecopiteco Yes. It is a Sergio Sollima film with Oliver Reed, called "Revolver"! Jeez...

  • tru.........tru..............................

  • Just hearing this makes me want to watch Inglourious Basterds again...

  • IMO, Zoller was a Nazi and had no respect for Shoshanna. He thought she was hot that was about it. He just wanted what he couldn't have and felt he should get her because of who he was. He said nothing when Goebells was talking about Marcel not being allowed to work in the projection booth during the premiere. He also pretty much said, "Fuck the French." right in front of her only in German. So, yeah he sucks.

  • @OrangeTealSky That's what Zoller turned into as he was seduced by the fame & glory. His ego inflated with his status & power, making him vain & arrogant. But that is not who Zoller was when he and Shoshanna first met, he was shy, humble, traumatized & longing for companionship of a woman who loved film as he did. Shoshana felt pity for that earlier Zoller. Tarantino doesn't pass moral judgement on characters, they often do horrible things. His heroes love great films/storytelling, as both Z & S

  • @waltereg0 id say your overthinking zoller's love for film...i think he saw a hot frenchie and wanted to dink it

  • @OrangeTealSky Actually, I read somewhere that Tarantino said that Zoller's feelings for Shosanna were genuine and that he never would have hurt her. He calls them his "Romeo & Juliet."

  • @madluv1912

that was more like "Beauty and the Beast"

He loved her but she Hated him

  • @jaguar4u2 According to Tarantino, if they had met in a different time under different circumstances, they could have both fallen in love.

  • @madluv1912

but what about her love "Marsel"?

  • @jaguar4u2 I don't know. All I know is that Tarantino apparently supports Shosanna and Zoller as a couple, and since he was the one who created the characters, my guess is that Marcel and Shosanna would probably just break up. Although, if they did meet in a different time, there's a chance that she wouldn't be with Marcel.

  • what a movie..watched 5 times in webmovietube

  • This music is such epic, when shosanna died.

  • 30 people are deaf..

  • @richieb86 30 ppl aren't friends.

  • i wish i was shosanna

  • @23181329

If you really want your family to die that badly just shoot em.

  • @Arc9er ugh i want to be hot and burn a theatre filled with nazis is that better

  • @23181329

Much better, cause that's what I want to achieve in life.

  • This song is awesome, and i love how they applied it to her death.
