  • Ah someones jettie washed up into our back yard |D We still have it there. We know who owns it at least.

Did anyone see where the massive housebote destroyed all those jetties near Sanctury Cove?

  • I'm a knob!!!... I google earthed it.. yup.. and ive only been across that bridge like 3 gazillion times!!!...lol.. anyway... thanks for the vid .. very good footage...

  • @ShhhAdultStores Me to I have to cross it to go pretty much anywhere lol

  • thanks Bruski.... hahaha.. i live just up the rd, go over this bridge everyday and wasn't aware of there being a service rd bridge to the west??.. i'm gunna have a look tonight on the way home.. lol..

  • The video was taken from the service road bridge on the west side of the M1. Not sure how the boat got under the first bridge to get stuck on the M1...

  • @bruski73au Your video shows damage to the top of the boat, probably clipped by the service road bridge. The current has then pushed it parallel to the bridge where it's resting against the headstock and pylons of the bridge.

Western service road Coomera River bridge is slightly higher due to design reasons, slightly upstream, riverbank heights etc.

Was water flowing under the Coomera River Overflow bridges? Interesting Rushcutter Ave Oxenford has been built up & in the path this overflow.

  • hey.... where was that filmed from??... was the boat stuck between the two bridges???... can't get my head around where it is... i can see a rail close to the camera... ???...

  • yeah were still missing our boat as well... bad bad day...hopefully she didnt drift too far

  • aha. this boat sunk like 20ms down the river. i went past it today. ahaha

  • all aboard the failboat.

  • Has anyone seen my boat?

  • yes not good re the horses, quite a few lost that night. Also a large number of livestock washed away.

Would have been nice to have known it was coming so everyone could have moved thier stock to higher ground!!

  • I lived down stream from here about 5 years ago and have seen some good flood water comming down but nothing compared to that! Unfortunately, even with the best technology, they can`t predict that amount of water comming down! I feel for all you guys.I`ve since moved out west and seen the destruction that drought can do and the good rains we`ve had out here have saved many an animal and saved a hell of alot families from going broke...It`s a cruel world we live in...but that`s just life!

  • ohh man that was some hectic weather :(

2 horses died, some missing and heaps injured.

entire 18 acre horse agistment on charlies crossing rd upper coomera flooded!
