Splendid! I love how you form beautiful extended harmonies like dom7's and maj add2. Its great to see singers going in depth with their harmonies rather than just sticking to familiar 3rds and 6ths ^_^
Agreed...! (with "Partyburner"). This IS as good as it possibly can get... really!
Even though this song isn't "YOUR" song... with this arrangement of yours you made it "YOURS", entirely! – Keep 'em coming like that, Paul, this IS your style! ...
Yes, great idea... despite the mere pragmatic fact (?) that it probably came in just right due to lack of time for doing "any better" ^_^ ...
But by actually looking at the waveforms on that timeline of those (Hi)five voices while listening to the tune it might let one anticipate what musical "Wonder of Wonders" would occur next , but then again the actual thrill kicks in nonetheless ...
... I personally get goosebumps all over during the entire piece, and whether anyone may believe it or not this performance reminds me of (very) early *NSYNC (mostly) live performances a decade ago when they were in for some good old a-cappella singing – in order to proof to some of the critic among their audiences that they in fact COULD sing"...!
To make a long story (i.e. comment) short: "Goed gedaan, Paul!
Viele Grüsse nach Holland aus der Deutschschweiz :)
That's what I've subscribed for, back then! You did a great job on this one. I like your arrangement and the way you interpret the song.
Furthermore, your way of displaying a multitrack video (showing your software play the tracks, instead of the split screen thing) is pretty unique. On the other hand, it might be nice to see you, too. Maybe a combination of both would be a good idea.
