I love Charles Martinet's acting, but you don't see Mario fanboys discussing it! Want to know why I bought Sonic Adventure? Because it's a sequel to Sonic 3K and it looked fun. It was, but Jaleel White, Martin Burke, Ryan Drummond, Jason Griffith, that didn't impact the game one bit, the script was cheesy either way.

ummm... the only game he hasn't been in since his debut is Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Rush Adventure. and Sonic Chronicles. He hasn't been in many stories because of his character placement. :P
Ugh sonic didnt need a personality! He was always a cool, a slight mysterious blue hedgehog fighting Dr. Robotnick, with awesome games. Before any type of voice acting was done to him, he was at his greatest. I admit Jason is the last person i'd want to voice sonic but listen sonic shouldnt even have a voice actor.
at the same time, back when he was silent one could look at him and instantly we knew what his voice sounded like. Nasally young. And ever since then all his voices have always been the basic idea of Sonic's voice. :) Thank goodness. I dun wanna read subtitles only like Mario. well actually Jason sounds more like a fictionla voice (lately he sounds normal) and sounds calm and wise while Ryan sounds nerdy and always happy. Jason has more emotion but Ryan has more style. Sonic's not dead, if he was real, he would be ashamed of you, fanboys. Why can't he have a fanbase like Mario and Zelda? I love Charles Martinet's acting, but you don't see Mario fanboys discussing it! Want to know why I bought Sonic Adventure? Because it's a sequel to Sonic 3K and it looked fun. It was, but Jaleel White, Martin Burke, Ryan Drummond, Jason Griffith, that didn't impact the game one bit, the script was cheesy either way.

hmm, but the sword fit him so well :D Sonic gameplay is cool and sword gameplay is cool and opens up to tons of awesome opportunities...they just messed up and limited both Sonic style gameplay and sword style gameplay is all XP
There never had a werewolf.
The Arabian Nights was cool, almost all series seen to make a reference to it now and then :) Shows Sonic can be diverse.
If only they did these things in a more "sharp" style like SA2 or Sonic 2. ^^

ummm... the only game he hasn't been in since his debut is Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Rush Adventure. and Sonic Chronicles. He hasn't been in many stories because of his character placement. :P

If you give sonic a personality you damn well must be prepared to make him sound like he should, like a teen and fast.
Jason sounds like hes 30 and slow.
When i play the game when jason is voicing it just doesnt FEEL like sonic, because voice and personality fit hand in hand.

Ugh sonic didnt need a personality! He was always a cool, a slight mysterious blue hedgehog fighting Dr. Robotnick, with awesome games. Before any type of voice acting was done to him, he was at his greatest. I admit Jason is the last person i'd want to voice sonic but listen sonic shouldnt even have a voice actor.

at the same time, back when he was silent one could look at him and instantly we knew what his voice sounded like. Nasally young. And ever since then all his voices have always been the basic idea of Sonic's voice. :) Thank goodness. I dun wanna read subtitles only like Mario. Makes Sonic feel so air-headed like he has no thoughts. x_X

well actually Jason sounds more like a fictionla voice (lately he sounds normal) and sounds calm and wise while Ryan sounds nerdy and always happy. Jason has more emotion but Ryan has more style. Basically the people complaining about the voices are picky because Sonic's never sounded like a teen (He's freakin 15, I'm 17 and I sound younger than he EVER has lol)
Well you also have to admit it's just possible that Griffith actually sounds more like what they original wanted Sonic to sound like

What the hell? Sonic Chronicles AND Sonic Unleashed were announced at the time u made this vid, so this was pointless. And although fans won't admit it, Sonic Unleashed, was, in my opinion, the rivival and best game in the series. YEAH I SAID IT! I DIDN'T MIND THE WEREHOG. THE WEREHOG GAMEPLAY WAS FUN!

Sonic unleashed was just BARELY good enough(i have the wii version. don't bitch) to keep the hedgehog alive. Sonic and The Black Knight was frustrating sometimes but it was beatable. unlike ANOTHER sonic game for the wii that we love to hate because it does the same to us...

New sonic games are ass, at least remake the 2d versions in HD or something, enhance the old school Gameplay, or just fucking re draw the whole game and make it 2d 3d ish with nice cut scenes but also focus more on fuckin game play. the only sonic game i liked that had him and everybody talkig was the first Sonic Adventure for the Dreamcast, and was later to be on Gamecube, and i believe they should have stopped there, or just tried a bit harder to not make the games after that so damn fruity and rip-offy. didnt like Sonic Heroes much or even Sonic Adventure 2.
o well. there will always be some ppl out there to know of Sonic's legend while it lasted, hopefully
