Beautiful, absolutely stunning. There still exist a few artisans in the world that can make perfection through the use of their hands and eyes only. You sir, are one of the few.
Bach. Boroque period, a few hundered years after medieval times. Kolpomorto probably just meant that he/she was speechless, as I am at this craftsmanship and attention to form.
such a fuckin hell of a job...incredibly fascinating they used to do this 700 years ago...wow, I'm getting pumped up! Wanna learn this craft sooo bad!
Beautiful piece, and my utmost respect to you. I have been wanting to try to craft something a little easier for a long time now. Maybe a norse/nasal helm. I'v read alot about the craft but this is the first vid i have ever seen the hammer to the mettle. Any advice on a first project? Or need an apprentice heh?
Dude that was fascinating. I wish i had the means to start doing this kind of stuff. I have a couple questions though: How long does it take to make a full suit? Do you make any weapons? I would love to seem some weaponsmithing videos if you have any.
I can't even describe how impressive it is to watch someone create objects like that free hand out of sheet metal. Where would someone learn comparable skills and how to fabricate sheet metal like this person does? I almost get the feeling of butterflies watching that thing being formed, unreal.
WOW FABULOUS WORK AS ALWAYS!!! do you know of any easy cheap way i can get a planishing stake...ball stake**this is great work...i wish you would give us some blueprints though so we can make it ourselves...cant find great blueprints so...thanks though very enjoyable!

could someone explain the metal disc on the back? i don't see any need for it... but thats just me.
175myles 2 years ago
it's a satellite dish! it could get boring in medieval times without a tv!
gamblumoqli 2 years ago
the rondel on the back was so that you could wrap/tie the strap holding on your visor with one hand as opposed to having to muck about with a buckle.
fuckhavingtoregister 2 years ago
right, i guess it would be usefull.

I use 14g mild steel and steel rivets.

Seriously, man!! How can people think about weapons with things like these coming out of your laborious mind and so well trained hands?
I would never think about lifting any weapon against that!
LOVED the camera!! I've learned so much with your videos. Thanks a lot!
