The home Pong console was actually the first Atari system ever made. There are many variations of Atari 2600s. There are also a few 4 switcher models made. Difficulty A is expert, Difficulty B is Novice (easy). Game select selects the different variations of game. Like in Pac-Man, it switches between 1 and 2 player, etc. That's not an original RF cable, and you need a coax adapter. the 2600 Jr. has a COMPlETELY different design. Sorry if I sound so critisising, but this is a great review!
actually, (correct me if i'm wrong) the first atari console was some sort of dedicated pong console, but you are right in the sence that the atari 2600 was the first cartridge based atari console.
Hi-how can you review the console without turning it on and playing it? Pretty lame review for the first and best, most collectable old-school gaming console ever made!
Kind of a stupid review and the odyssey wasn't a pong console but used the same formula, atari made a pong console called atari pong and for everyone saying about the 2600 porn games please shut up, there are much harder to find games because I have a few ( I'm a collector), I have "x-man" and "beat em and eat em" , but other than the misstake with the odyssey your info was good
Also, you need to remember that this was the first game system, the didn't really have much to base this on of course it would have some design flaws.
Your retarded.

@Zambaku nothing. Got it from a junk week. I did however by an Atari 2600 Junior for $50 with cables and controller.
