This is very hard to understand, but im trying to put them for my hunter, are all these macros for markmanship, or for all specs for hunters?

casting does not work for me. I exactly type the following:

/cast Ice Lance

/cast Arcane Blast

/cast Arcane Missiles

/cast Arcane Barrage

/cast Scorch

/cast Molten Armor

/cast Frostfire Bolt

/cast Fire Blast

only arcane barrage got 3 sec cooldown

@YoAmAGangster check if the abilities trigger the Global Cooldown this is very important. some abilities trigger a 1 second cooldown for all other abilities as well, therefor not allowing you to cast the second ability right away.

@YoAmAGangster are these spells instant casts? If you have to wait even 1 second between two spells for casting, cooldown, anything: it wont work. Macro's try to cast everything at once, not in the order they are written.

@YoAmAGangster Well this means that it will never work, because at least half of the spells need like 1second cast time... there isnt a cooldown but the cast time of the spell...

use /castsequence and push the button so many times, how many spells will you write after that. like "/castsequence Ice Lance, Arcane Blast, Arcane Missiles" - 3 times push makro key to cast all 3 spells.

@YoAmAGangster yeah, sorry to inform you, but all of those trigger the GCD, what you could do is a /castsequence

or use the /cast [modifier:key] tags the firstone will allow you to chain cast spells that trigger the gcd everytime you use it, the macro would look like

/castsequence Ice Lance, Arcane Missles

that will cast ice lance, and when the gcd is done you can cast arcane missles.

Another great macro for pvp is

/castsequence reset=3 Frost Trap, Disengage.

U can switch around the traps if I want. It will put a trap down right b4 u jump. I found it vry helpful today wen 2 alliance tried to camp me while I was questing.

Hey guys, I've been looking around for a macro for my crabs intervene. I want to keep him on passive by my side, but make a macro so that, when used, makes my crab get the required range to use intervene, and then continue following me.

Also, a more simpler macro, how would I make my pet charge and then continue attacking that target while hes on passive?

Spells with a global cooldown go on the bottom line because the game read the macro from top to bottom. To check if a spell tiggers the global cooldown; use the spell and look to see if you other abilities are on a short cooldown.

use it when the 2nd enemy is close to you, it should work O_o i tested it myself— sometimes you are a bit too far to wingclip and your character disengages anyways.

@jaspersnoncool Yes, you can make a macro do 3 things at once as long as the first couple abilities do not trigger a cooldown for the abilities after it. If you have problems with a macro message me what you're trying to do and ill help

well im kind of new to the mage and i made a macro that was supposed to do frost nova then arcane explosion and i was woundering if you could help because it only casted frost nova

I only know hunter spells, but does frost nova trigger a cooldown for arcane explosion at all? try switching up the order? frost nova has to be an instant cast for it to work, you can't pause before using arcane explosion.

Both trigger the global cooldown and macros are more effective when used to trigger together abilities that don't activate global cooldowns with those that do.
