The Chinese communists are not going away and the Beijing Olympic will not be boycotted. There are many ways to show support for the people of Burma that could effect progress for them.

One way is to travel to Burma and stay and eat at places that are privately owned. This is for the budget traveler. Those who want comfort should not go, all their money goes to the military government.
