anyone in my opinion with that set up and who knows how to work it proper can make a set like this!! i don't think its hard but it is cool as like. just a few loops bring them down with while changing the key of the track and releasing shit like that...

It does come down to track selection and knowing your tunes inside out!

@scoobydoobydoo1212 dude, you might want to try knowing something before leaving a comment like this. a set like this takes more skill, practice, musical knowledge and concentration than you can poke a stick at. try having to cue up, beatmatch, EQ and drop in a new track every minute and a half or so. in no way is it easy. and "changing the key" "a few loops bring them down", what does that even mean? pitchbending? scoobydoo, get a clue :P

Perhaps i misread your comment. and of course i'm admiring these videos, its well agreed that kissy sellout is one of the best DJ's today. how else does one improve but by studying the best? if you can send me a set of yours thats as good as his, i'll happily accept that something like this is easy

@Caspar675 I never at any point said its easy. What i said was i don't think its hard (personal opinion) Yeah it takes skill obviously! Anyway kool i said i'll post a vid in November. I didn't post to argue just posted to show with the right equipment and knowledge you could be able to mix like this in a matter of months! its a fact as i've seen it done. kissy sell out is a good DJ.

@Caspar675 haha nah no danger any random joe blogg could do something like that with this equipment. Yeah cool man looking foward to posting and getting a responce out of people. I use 2x technics 1200 mk2 with traktor scratch pro and my laptop. I chose it because its the most cost efficiant and i can link it with my dj partners as well as do live performance with the akai mpk 88 keyboard. Looking into getting the pioneer djm 800 and 2 cdj 900s soon. what do you use man?

@scoobydoobydoo1212 nice one. I'm using a pair of denon 3500's and a basic 2 channel ecler mixer that i got off ebay for heaps cheap haha. I got them cause it allows me to retain the feel of vinyl while not needing to buy records every fortnight. I'm keen to put in a third deck at some point for more flexibility and options when mixing. If you're looking at CDJ's, denons emulate vinyl really well, and there's no problems transferring to pioneers in clubs etc. I think they're worth checking out.

Yea, he gave those things a work out. If you see in the begining though, he was getting frustrated because there was no sound coming from third player on the right cause they didn't have the wires set up or something.
