from there new album (i hate it that it's still top secret what the name of it is and when it will be released).

huh? i have the original setlist. and there it says: CALM TREES. and not 'the valley of'.
that sounds also good, though..
but I like the song, it sounds kinda weird. i love weirdness.

yes but on the setlist other song titles were shortened as above so below was 'as above' i think an totem on the timeline was just 'totem' so although it was listed as calm trees its full title is the valley of the calm trees

they used the nostalgic guitar sound (I forgot the name of it) in this song, but in the other song as well. it'll probably has got something to do with their new sound. I think it sounds good when it's on the album
