  • ...I like you. <3 You're awesome. Rock on, vet lady! Sing the truth!

  • You rock on Nurse!

  • @daleyander2468 *Doctor. But yes, rock on ;)

  • me and a nabor have been careing for an abandoned declawed cat for a few months.... i am so mad someone would subject a cat to the surgery and then dump it

  • I had my two cats declawed by laser surgery a year ago. Which I was told was less painful and more humane. Which I recommend it if you insist on getting your cat declawed. I heard the other procedure of having a cat declawed is more like mutilation and harder on the cat. I don't know what others think of laser surgery. but do know it's more expensive but I seen it was easier on my cats.

  • @dlbgismo When you have to use the words "Less" painful and "More" humane, on an unnecessary mutilation just to make your own life easier without any consideration for the cat, you already know what you did was disgusting.

Although you spent extra money to purposely disable your cat, you must be a nice person(!)

  • @dlbgismo what did you not understand about what the doctor said in this video ? you paid to have your cats to be amputated which IS mutilation.

mutilating an animal for conviniences is NOT "love", it's called cruelty.

  • thank you for this awesome video.

I am glad for you ideas for scratch posts for the cat. We just discovered the cardboard scratching . Love it ! I wondered what to do about the wall scratching. I will try these ideas and also get a scratching POST as well ! THANKS !

  • Thank you, Dr. I would never get my cat declawed. Same as I'd never cut off a human child's finger.

  • I have rescued & kept multiple cats, all declawed. I've heard the horror stories & believe it depends on the vet. My indoor ferals would never allow nail trim. If declaw becomes illegal, I no longer can keep cats because I do pug rescue & cannot take a chance with those big eyes. My cats have a cat escape proof yard & even kill prey if an animal gets in. One cat will claw kitchen cabinets and now still does in peace without scolding. Claws are no protection against coyotees, dogs, cars, poison.

  • @tmhteacher i almost didnt respond to this because i dont want to start a fight, but i have to. declawing is a completely unnecessary and painful procedure. nobody should be alowed to mutilate an animal. people declaw because it makes their life easier. meaning they dont even take the cat into consideration. this is cruelty to me. if you cant own a cat that remains in an unaltered way, then you shouldnt have one. you seem to be a good person. i hope this makes you reconsider your opinion.

  • @tmhteacher I hope they do make it illegal, as people who would mutilate a cat and force them to live their lives in a way which is not natural to them, really shouldn't have pets.

It is illegal in the UK for a reason and we don't have hospitals full of cat scratch victims, I think that some people should give these beautiful animals a bit more credit.
