final fantasy 1 is a stand alone

final fantasy 2/3 are very alike

final fantasy 7/8/9 are like a series all their own

final fantasy 10 is a departure from the 7/8/9 formula

while final fantasy 12/13 is a nice thing so 13 is somewhat like another

You should open the guides to see what production number they are. It'll be on the inside cover on the left. Rare numbers like no. 1 no. 90,000 or w/e the last issue was and some novelty ones like 7777, 555 etc will be worth quite a bit ;)

Ikaruga is pretty expensive for the Gamecube.

I got the XBLA version which just cost me 5 bucks.

And it's in HD.

And it has online co-op.

Awesome on Ikaruga and yeah I'm a big Ray Harryhausen fan (special effects guy from Clash of the Titans). I have a friend who told me that the monsters in the new movie are modeled somewhat from the God of War monsters so that's pretty interesting.

I went to see Clash of the Titans in 3D, and being a huge fan of the original I was actually quite a bit disappointed. The 3D was shit and the rest was only okay at best.

Good pickup on Ikaruga. I remember how shocked I was to see it in Walmart, the last copy after all the other stores stopped carrying it. It is fun but honestly the Gamecube controller is not really ideal for the game.

You got a Gamecube Ikaruga *faints* I have wanted one so bad but can't go for the online auction prices it hits. I wish they would make a US release of Radiant Silvergun. I don't have a modded or Japanese Saturn but have considered getting the game and running it in emulation that would be good enough for now. \

I too am a huge huge HUGE fan of The Neverending Story! If you haven't, you absolutely MUST read the book! It's absolutely amazing but I will warn you, after reading the book it will be difficult to watch the movie. The book is THAT much better.

The new Clash of the Titans is alright, but the ending sucked. And for FF13, I think it's a pretty good game, but there's tons of screen tearing if you're playing it on a standard TV (cos Square couldn't be bothered to test the game on standard TVs) and the script is awful, "Mums are tough." XD Still, it's pretty good. 8/10 for me.

Mouse Guard reminds me of Mossflower, with the exception of the fact that Mouse Guard obviously has more of an emphasis on artwork, while Mossflower (and the other books in the series, from what I understand) are regular novels.
