I've been a Rourke fan since the 80's but it's easy to forget his past for us. He did lead a volatile life although I def understand his frustration with hollywood and it's politics.His marital life was quite explosive & I'm not saying it was his fault alone no way. I do admire the effort he's put in therapy & how appreciative he's become of life now. I just can't figure out y he had so many surgeries. I understand his nose coz of the boxing but y the rest of em? The guy looked like a prince.

Hugh looks a little uncomfortable, because he's in the presence of the Rourke. Brolin is trying to play it down, but he's just as nervous. Benicio looks like a kid at a candy store whilst Rourke is talking. It's good to see someone admire the man.

In Australia he plays an iconic role with strength, wry humor and a big heart. He undoubtedly has the range and depth of talent meriting a place at this roundtable. These actors work differently, but they all excel at their profession. I see no one out of place here.
i'm laughing...but he's the most handsome though:)...well, if you compare 9 1/2 Weeks Mickey Rourke to today's Hugh Jackman, Mickey could give him a run for his money, Mickey was super fine & super sexy back in the day...but Hugh is talented in his own right...don't you think? anyway, mickey will win the oscar & hugh will be hosting, what more can I ask for...

yeah...sweep under the rug...hugh & the aboriginal kid actor make the movie...take out boring, no-acting, nicole kidman and insert kate winslet (even though she's not australian) and i bet Australia would have been a contender during award season...by her own admission, kidman knew she didn't "bring it"...jackman did kinda seem like a fish out of water amongst those actors...if you weren't so funny, i might have been offended...go monica go!!! go barack go!!!
