  • clear suck i repeat do not get it i rather go with tmobile then these guys..

  • ping:107ms download:0.64mb/s upload:1.46mb/s... where in legal document says they're going to cap you off with a DDOS attack? $220 cancellation fee? $40 restocking fee? you can get it all for the price of $45 a month $40 for the service $5 for renting out the damn modem.

  • Im available for an upgrade im gonna use in 2012 when sprint releases their first quadcore with LTE

  • do I need to do anything on the modem should clear change to LTE?

btw, it is not fair to compare US to other countries like SKorea or Japan, their areas are much smaller, and so the cost of infrastructure would be much lower than here while offering higher speed

  • Now can you see high speed like this in building especially here in NYC, I don't think so. Clear 2.6 Spectrum banding diminish speed inside of buildings.

  • LIES!!! Can u IMAGINE how much its gonna COST?!??! i am descusted with CLEAR! Their speeds are terribly inconsistant and their "customer service" is considered to be the worst of all cell phone and internet providers!!.....Cancelled mine 20 mins ago! COMCAST HERE I COME!!!!!

  • I get less than 1 mb most of the time and when I play online gaming my connection is always struggling to reach 3 bars is there any indication if clear will use Lte and how much can it possibly boost my speeds up

  • The US is dragging their feet on this.

"By the end of 2012, South Korea intends to connect every home in the country to the Internet at one gigabit per second." "South Koreans pay an average of $38 a month for connections of 100 megabits a second."

  • @Spytheweb South Korea is also the size of Nebraska.... The United States is like 50x bigger! Yet, I do understand your frustration. Heavily populated metropolitan areas of the US need better and more reliable internet access at half the price. There is no reason we are lagging behind. It's all politics and corporate bickering that is slowing us down. Pardon the pun...

  • good cuz your speeds suck!!! i have to watch these videos at 240 to get any type of decent speed.... cant wait to switch cuz clear is horrible right now!!!

  • ClearWire, how will those speeds look like in real-world situations. Those speeds are when nobody else is on the network. I'm sure Verizon Wireless could also attain those LTE speeds in the same situation as yourself, no offense! : 0

  • I wonder how this will compare to Verizon Wireless' LTE offering. Those results are nice, but on a fully unloaded network. : /

  • That is some crazy fast speeds, but I doubt that real life usage will be a little bit slower. If this does go live, I would like to get a USB modem for my laptop and would possibly never get home internet.

  • @skymitch89 same here, I WOULD be happy with a consistent 10 - 30Mbps lol :) i have fios at 30Mbps and dont see myself going lower lol

  • Don't you think the actual realistic speeds for end users would be in the 10s mb/s down? I'm just saying. Either way, its a start.

Also, if you plan to sell this as an alternative to landline internet, don't cap us at 5gigs man.

  • Good! get rid of all the wimax crap they installed and give customers what they pay for! Hope they improved their back-haul though, simply put, any system you put out there will not give what it does not have.

  • Phoenix,AZ? WHAT ABOUT TUCSON,AZ ITS RIGHT NEXT TO PHOENIX! IS THIS COMING TO TUCSON<AZ TOO?

  • @windowsvista113 LTE is only being tested at this point. Stay tuned to our YouTube channel for future updates!

  • So, how long did it take for them to get capped for watch hulu?

  • Amazing so will this become a WiMax/LTE network?

  • @terrell352 There are no plans now to switch. These trials are done to test the coexistence between WiMAX and LTE should Clearwire decide to offer both standards in the future. Check out the CLEAR blog for more details.

  • @CLEARinsider thanks for the info. Do you know when they will release a list of upcoming 4G cities like Clear did last year?

  • @terrell352 I would keep an eye on the CLEAR blog or Facebook page, since those channels will provide an update when that information becomes available. The Facebook Page is facebook[dot]com/CLEAR4G

  • @CLEARinsider People care about the latencies as much as the speeds! MAKING PING RATE AS LOW AS POSSIBLE! ill prefer 20ms locally.. :)

  • @windowsvista113 True dat. Still, this is a step forward.
