and the last comment is that I agree with the other comment that said action speaks louder than words, jesus said in mark16:17 that signs are supposed to be following all beilevers.
it's not just people getting healed it's spiritual gifts being manifested in the beilever.once again jesus didn't just tell his disciples to preach,he told them to walk in some type of spiritual gift.
"He (Jesus) told them to walk in some type of spiritual gift"? Where does Jesus say this? I think you have been watching to much myles munroe and tbn. As far as Mark 16:17, that was something Jesus said directly to his disciples. You can't apply that universally to all believers everywhere and you won't find that anywhere in didactic (teaching) Scripture. If God wants to move in a certain way, He will. You probably like Todd Bentley too. A wicked and perverse generation seeks a sign!
in Matthew10:7 jesus tells them preach saying the kingdom of heaven is at hand and they didn't just talk they walked in manifestation of the kingdom being present by
them healing and praying for people, and like jesus did to the woman at the well tell sinners things that only God would Know That's what we are supposed to be walking in.
Huh? Are you saying that if someone is preaching the Gospel but people aren't being healed that they are doing something wrong? That's just plain ridiculous...
I never said he never even mentioned hell at all but what I'm saying is that jesus message was not really a message of condeming
because every body sins.He tried to tell them more of the solution then the problem,I'm not saying don't even mentioned hell.just don't let that be the center of your message
Well, I'd say that the balance of my message is the same as it was for Jesus. I challenge you to get a red letter edition of the Bible (Jesus' words in red) and read just what Jesus said. I think that you will find the same thing I found...
jesus said he didn't come to condem the world but through him the world might be saved.Jesus never said to a multitude of people
repent or you go to hell. But he said repent for the kingdom of god is at hand.meaning the government of god is back on earth and that means you can be delivered from satan's daily dominion over you by believing on Jesus.
Actually Jesus said "Repent or Perish" in Luke 13:3, 5. Also, He spoke about Hell and Judgment more than anything else. Read Matthew 5-7, the Sermon on the Mount. He was constantly warning people of Hell and Judgment. He was constantly preaching on sin and what would happen if people continued in sin...
why don't you go inside somewhere and preach, so students can study and learn about thier interests peacefully. Listening to someone yell about their religion outside the library is very rude and absurd. Your manner of presentation is idiotic. Students pay a ton of money to attend these classes, but you take it upon yourself to interrupt the entire school. Take it somewhere else on campus next time around you total fool.
As a UNCW student, all I have to say is that to have these people on our campus everyday preaching to us, being rash with us, pushing their religion on us, and telling us we're going to hell 'for that big party last night' is ridiculous. It's hard not to say anything back when you're just walking to class and hear them say something completely out of line. I'm sorry that this man thinks our campus is rude and disrespectful, but my peers who are debating with him in the video have a good point.
It's not "yelling", it's called preaching, from the Greek word kerusso, which means to proclaim as loudly as you can. The only reason things were repeated is because people asked the same questions over and over again...and because new people came and went I had to preach the Gospel again and again.
If you morons knew anything about debate, you wouldn't have people getting so pissed about you not answering questions or interrupting them. We're currently working on organizing CASH (Campus Athiests and Secular Humanists) to give you a run for your money next time.
p.s. I was waiting for that dude in the Wilmington shirt to punch the dude in the pink/red shirt. I would have laughed SO HARD...
