Yes, Jason is Jason, so he's going to have similar actions, but in this case, he's trying to relive his relationship with Robin through Liz. He can't have Robin, so, he goes for her subpar clone! Besides, it should always be Jason with Robin and Liz with Lucky!!

It's not just the "nowhere" comment. Go watch the actual J&R scene. A young girl having a hard time handling life after her first love's death. A boy who tries to make her forget, offering to take her nowhere. It's the same old song. Just replace Robin with Liz. Next thing you know, Liz tells Jason how he helped her live her life again...
