  • OH my... I almost buy the damn movie. Glad I see this before lol

  • perfection!

  • Wonderfull ! How many people watching the latest GoCompare Insurance add will link the guys in the tomb with moustaches to this original.? lol

  • @jumpdance24 Me for one, I just sat watching the add and had to look them up.

As shinawillful said what a legacy.

  • just magnificent surely someone will enter britains got talent and resurrect this. choreography and timing is spot on

  • Timeless and nobody ever could do it like them.

  • Hahaa :O One of the men was my great great great great uncle !! Lol !!

  • So THIS is what all the old paintings on the tomb do?

  • Sand Dance

  • First time I have seen them. So brilliant! A lovely legacy for them, that they can still crack people up after more than eighty years!

  • very good

  • Nothing can touch this nowadays.

Its so original and deeply entertaining!

  • They performed this for Joseph Goebells in 1936 in Berlin who declared it indecent!

  • i love this so much

  • ha ha ha haha haaha hahhha lol

  • Of all the eccentric dancers on the music-hall circuit, none could top the legendary Wilson, Kepple and Betty. One of several versions of the famous sketch, with which they toured the halls for over 30 years.

  • i have to say, they were good,

  • i did know there were three, i have this clip on my favourites and remember watching it as a child,

  • No matter how absurd I find this, I still find it inside me to enjoy this. So true that the older days where the best.

  • just fab stuff!

    coracle woman

  • i think, they remind me why my nan and grandad laughed so much.the'er great.

  • Wonderful to see the clips, few exist now, my grandfather was a close friend of Joe Keppel, they both came for the same street in Cork, Ireland, and he nearly joined the act in the early days.

  • Their act was simple and wonderful. I'm from Cork and would like to revive interest here, but know very little about Joe. Where in Cork were he and your grandfather from?

  • Proof that break dancing was invented in 1899

  • too true

  • BRING BACK VARIETY

  • Oh wonderful...., Wilson Keppel and Betty.

  • Hahahahha! I love this

  • hahhahaha this makes me chuckle

  • i just read a biography and betty was replaced a few times, it wasnt always the same girl, but i remember them as a child and they were funny, and indeed still are

  • What's the name of the biography and does it have an ISBN number by any chance? - I am very keen to find out more about these marvellous performers

  • Look them up on wiki?

  • AIUI there were 3 Bettys - each new one being the daughter of her predecessor.

  • Great video. Some years ago(though sadly now closed) a Musichall museum in Truro,Cornwall had some of their props.Unique and sadly a rare perfermance these days.

  • How I love this act!

  • I for got to ask, is it possible to get a proper copy I would love to have this in DVD. Thanks again.

  • I first saw this dance as a young boy and it facinated me, it wasn't until these last few years I have been able to watch it again and again. Thank you so much it has been a real treat.

  • AAAA.240212Z DEC 2007 Very funny indeed, Thank you.....AR

  • lmao bloody hell? i adore this!

  • Brilliant! How do they keep a straight face?

  • Oh, I would have to have some additional citations to believe this. Your comment immediately struck me as lacking veracity, prompting me to check Wikipedia about this act. According to Wiki:

"Jack Wilson (born in Liverpool) and Joe Keppel (born in Ireland) met in the USA, where they started the trio act with Betty Knox in 1910."

  • Really, shame on you for attaching some perverted contrivance to these bygone performers. Get a grip.

  • Today, the use of the word "camp" is valid. only coming from someone who has witnessed Wilson and Keppel.

  • Irresistibili

  • absolute genius. guaranteed smile on my face every time

  • heya my names hannah
