Draft: Darko was young (17) and had good center skills and success in a decent pro league against big, strong men, not 18-20 college guys. Bosh and Melo were just freshmen and back then it was a bit unusual for a player that young to go to the NBA. Hard to tell if their success was because of lack of competition, uncertain upside, etc. Wade was a 6'4" the shortest forward in major D1. Darko may have a career because of his age

I think the only thing this guy did wrong was get drafted at 2. If he were drafted waay lower, expectation wouldnt of been that high and he would have let no one down a dependable role player. But when you get drafted at 2, ahead of Anthony, Bosh and Wade, you better be damn good. And Darko certainly (so far) isnt that in the NBA.
