Saw the 'burbs at the Saints Roller Rink (of all places) in Duluth around 1982. It was some all-night new wave/punk fest. I was in the front row. They sure kicked ass. Love this song.

My favorite Suburbs song of all ... sigh ... makes me want to be back at the Longhorn Bar or at a Minneapolis warehouse after hours party at least. Great BBQ song played at the bar where even Grace Jones played once and that bar was also right next to the place that once upon a time served the best 'butterfknife' steak in Mpls.

took this albumn to Idaho State Univ in 1981 and my dorm and college buddies became known as the Colonial Hall Cows. Went waaay over board. Fuzzy memory about alcohol and stealing cow crossing signs while suburbs, replacements, sussman lawrence,daisy dillman,lamont cranston, etc albumns blasting way out in Idaho. Thank you for the great great memories!
