  • I used it a whole lot when I was younger, the sad thing is to this day it still snaps down before I can actually twist it up into any design, the scrunchie sucked, but the actual hairagami wasn't a bad product. I think that if they used different fabric for the product that it would have been a lot better

  • EWW

  • i bet some japanese person is watching this and going "those stupid americans"

  • Lol hair sushi...

  • Oh wow...I remember wanting those so bad when I was little...memories...haha. Too bad they sucked

  • I used to have one as a kid :D a slap bracelet :D never used it for my hair! :D

  • i had one of those.. FAIL.

  • I love my hairagami but it does take some practice. You have to know just how far to slide it down your hair before you start to roll it up and that distance has steadily changed as I've let my hair grow out so it's been some trial and error. I recently saw one for sale at CVS. Bought mine on Amazon years ago. I did have one that was apparently too sensitive- it would snap closed with the lightest pressure. I got rid of that.

  • didn't work very well with my hair

  • I remember this being on tv WOW soooooooo long ago. Haha

  • they haven't shown this commercial in years, but i STILL want one

  • I like and remember this Hairagami infomercial

  • they have really greasy hair

  • It's just a slap bracelet.....

  • i rember this hurts alot o-o

  • I always LOVED these commercials as a kid. I'd beg for one. xD

  • Omg, the many childhood mysteries FINALLY solved with Youtube. This, and the Part Pizzazz, were two commercials I saw on TV nearly all the time when I was little, yet I could never figure out just what in the heck these things were; other than the ladies in the commercials used them to make funny shapes in their hair. x) Next mission: the commercials for those battery-operated hair twisters/braiders, and I think they also made a hair beader too :P

  • @unknowndeoxys00 oh do you mean that one with the song "It's quick wrap from conair! snap! it's a wrap!" I've been trying to find that one too in my search for old commercials.

  • I feel like if I took two snap bracelets and put them into a piece of fabric it would work near the same. Maybe I'll try it...

  • *or can you notget them anymore

  • Where can you get one? Or are

  • i played with mine! i never actually put it in my hair lololol

  • WoW... this commercial has to be old O.O It comes with a scrunchie.

  • OMG yes I had one back when I was a kid but I don't remember doing my hair with it though :/ used to play with it hahaha

  • I remember this commercial back long ago sure brings me back.

  • I used to use slap bracelets from quarter machines to do that haha!

  • @mandalilpanda Same here! It help up better than I thought it would!

  • I remember this from when I was little. Every time I hear "special occasions", I think, "Like weddings, proms, or parties!"

  • god, the lighting is so awful! :P

  • @mandelstuvning ...thunder...not lightning..

  • Very cool! Great for dancers and uniformed women!

  • I have that lol!!!

  • It`s Amazing!!! =D

  • if someone used that in my house, id first wake up screaming "OH $HIT what was that" and then id probobly shoot someone. -_-

  • whenever I use this, there is always little hairs sticking out. ;(

  • Cool; the only things I don't like is the loud snapping; which sounds fake, and the name...it just sounds really ridiculous

  • I had one of these. Wish I could find it.

  • oh gosh I still remember watching this commercial

  • That snapping sound reminds me of someone's bones breaking or something lol I remember this commercial though. I want one :)

  • @HisPrettyButterfly

  • I had these....

  • I remember I liked wearing my hair in a Hair Sushi in high school but it was a pain to get your scalp smooth without any hair bumps. Everyone in my family was too retarded to help me out

  • it helped my hair b/c it was thick

  • snap bracelets plus long hair= slapping someone in class :D thumbs up if you remember slap bracelets ;D

  • Ooooo. A pony heart. (Heavy sarcasm)

  • Holy shiiiit! i haven't seen this in forever! ahah.

  • Just got one of these for my bday this week! Still learning how to use it...so far just focusing on the simple bun! Takes me like, 5-10 min to get it right, but should become easier with practice!

  • It hurtss I use to have a whole bunch. Actually, I still have a whole bunch of their other products that I never open..

  • My sister and I use to love these!!! I'm gonna make one with my headband... we'll see if it works as well since I don't think they even produce them anymore... do they???

  • @TahshaTPitsMe actually they do! I just got one for my birthday this week! You can look up their website...just search 'hairagami' and it should pop up!

  • i remember this commercial.

that s-shaped bun always fascinated me :P

  • Funny story... My sister got them for christmas one year, but I ended up using them more! :P I absolutly adore these things and need one again! My hair is soooooo long I'm hoping it'll hold it. However it is REALLY thin as well so it might. I sugest that anyone who wants an easy way to put your hair up should deff. by one!

  • i just got one at CVS it's two slap bracelets it cost me like $2.00.

  • "Dont waste ur money"?? wutevr!! i love this thing! I have like 6 of em, its ur own fault if it snaps shut on ur hands, ur not holding it right is all, I dnt evr have my hair up first, it messes up the buns and other awsm stuff u cn do with thm! My fav is the bun pony, super easy n rly cute :)

  • i remember when i first saw this commercial when i was younger!

  • xD This commercial popped into my head randomly just now, I cant believe its on youtube! You can find anything on this site.

  • I tried one of these. The thing wouldn't stay straight while I was rolling it up--it snapped shut on my hands every time. And these things are metal inside, so when they snap shut, it *hurts*. Don't waste your money.

  • you have to put your hair in a ponytail first, and then you start rolling it up. i use it all the time for dance and it works fine...
