I used it a whole lot when I was younger, the sad thing is to this day it still snaps down before I can actually twist it up into any design, the scrunchie sucked, but the actual hairagami wasn't a bad product. I think that if they used different fabric for the product that it would have been a lot better
I love my hairagami but it does take some practice. You have to know just how far to slide it down your hair before you start to roll it up and that distance has steadily changed as I've let my hair grow out so it's been some trial and error. I recently saw one for sale at CVS. Bought mine on Amazon years ago. I did have one that was apparently too sensitive- it would snap closed with the lightest pressure. I got rid of that.
Omg, the many childhood mysteries FINALLY solved with Youtube. This, and the Part Pizzazz, were two commercials I saw on TV nearly all the time when I was little, yet I could never figure out just what in the heck these things were; other than the ladies in the commercials used them to make funny shapes in their hair. x) Next mission: the commercials for those battery-operated hair twisters/braiders, and I think they also made a hair beader too :P
@unknowndeoxys00 oh do you mean that one with the song "It's quick wrap from conair! snap! it's a wrap!" I've been trying to find that one too in my search for old commercials.
I remember I liked wearing my hair in a Hair Sushi in high school but it was a pain to get your scalp smooth without any hair bumps. Everyone in my family was too retarded to help me out
Just got one of these for my bday this week! Still learning how to use it...so far just focusing on the simple bun! Takes me like, 5-10 min to get it right, but should become easier with practice!
My sister and I use to love these!!! I'm gonna make one with my headband... we'll see if it works as well since I don't think they even produce them anymore... do they???
@TahshaTPitsMe actually they do! I just got one for my birthday this week! You can look up their website...just search 'hairagami' and it should pop up!
Funny story... My sister got them for christmas one year, but I ended up using them more! :P I absolutly adore these things and need one again! My hair is soooooo long I'm hoping it'll hold it. However it is REALLY thin as well so it might. I sugest that anyone who wants an easy way to put your hair up should deff. by one!
"Dont waste ur money"?? wutevr!! i love this thing! I have like 6 of em, its ur own fault if it snaps shut on ur hands, ur not holding it right is all, I dnt evr have my hair up first, it messes up the buns and other awsm stuff u cn do with thm! My fav is the bun pony, super easy n rly cute :)
I tried one of these. The thing wouldn't stay straight while I was rolling it up--it snapped shut on my hands every time. And these things are metal inside, so when they snap shut, it *hurts*. Don't waste your money.
