You guys are stupid. this is obviously a match between friends. So they're only light sparring. also, the TKD kid's stance is normal for WTF. It's a common stance you'll see with TKD people in Korea. He just has to raise his arm to block a kick, but evasion takes precedence. You'll notice he evaded more than he did block.
At first I thought this match would suck because the TKD guy isn't Korean, but he actually knows what he's doing. He got some nice kicks in and was aggressive when needed.

It's funny, the taller guy is just playing with him xD No guard or anything, barely using punches. He's like me. Even in serious fights, I BARELY ever take the opponent seriously, unless they're bigger, or know for a fact, that they are experts at martial arts.. I remember in this one fight I had. The guy was supposed to be an incredibly strong and cool person, and yet, I kept my hands in my pockets in the whole time. Threw a bunch of kicks, and punched once for a finisher, and embarassed him.
my grandma can do better mauy thai than that, one he is not checken properly, that little dude could own him, with the right form. The twd dude was just throwin kicks. Best way to take him out is when he kicks, take out the leg hold'en him up. So when he does the higher kick grab his leg between your bicept and forearm and smash out the lower leg. Or better still come up close and elbow and knee the crap out of him. Don't forget close boxing too.

Must be a WTF TKD. with out punching and blocking TKD fighter will always lose to a true Muay Thai fighter. ITF and Muay Thai fighters are a great match for each other both produce good technique and power
Second, Muay thai is no better than TKD and vice versa. I've seen Mauy Thia guys put TKD guys down in a single leg kick. Flip side, I've seen TKD guys put Muay Thia guys down in a single roundhouse. It depends on who's fighting not the fighting style.
Third, if you think TKD doesn't involve punching, you're fucking stupid. The sport SHOWCASES kicks, the ART involves everything. Know you're facts.
The Muay Thai guy was always going to lose, Muay Thai loses effectiveness outside of the ring already, and given that they fight by the more crucial of WTF TKD rule, no punches to the head, he has no chance.
If punches to the head was allowed the TKD guy would have been KOed in the first 10 seconds.

@suchy36 8 years to Rhee and ITF :). The basic stance is having the arms down to the legs to guard. Not sure why because a leg can break that arm.
There are afew high blocks but most common blocks are around the waist. Its not like Boxing.
Rhee have the arms up for realistic self defense, but ITF doesnt.

It's funny, the taller guy is just playing with him xD No guard or anything, barely using punches. He's like me. Even in serious fights, I BARELY ever take the opponent seriously, unless they're bigger, or know for a fact, that they are experts at martial arts.. I remember in this one fight I had. The guy was supposed to be an incredibly strong and cool person, and yet, I kept my hands in my pockets in the whole time. Threw a bunch of kicks, and punched once for a finisher, and embarassed him.

my grandma can do better mauy thai than that, one he is not checken properly, that little dude could own him, with the right form. The twd dude was just throwin kicks. Best way to take him out is when he kicks, take out the leg hold'en him up. So when he does the higher kick grab his leg between your bicept and forearm and smash out the lower leg. Or better still come up close and elbow and knee the crap out of him. Don't forget close boxing too.

Must be a WTF TKD. with out punching and blocking TKD fighter will always lose to a true Muay Thai fighter. ITF and Muay Thai fighters are a great match for each other both produce good technique and power

First off, both these guys suck.
Second, Muay thai is no better than TKD and vice versa. I've seen Mauy Thia guys put TKD guys down in a single leg kick. Flip side, I've seen TKD guys put Muay Thia guys down in a single roundhouse. It depends on who's fighting not the fighting style.
Third, if you think TKD doesn't involve punching, you're fucking stupid. The sport SHOWCASES kicks, the ART involves everything. Know you're facts.

The Muay Thai guy was always going to lose, Muay Thai loses effectiveness outside of the ring already, and given that they fight by the more crucial of WTF TKD rule, no punches to the head, he has no chance.
If punches to the head was allowed the TKD guy would have been KOed in the first 10 seconds.
