$2,000, I don't think so. The most I've ever seen one go for is $500-$700. I would pay maybe $100-$200 for it. It's a great costume though, and the detail is almost exactly spot on.

Even though I'm a big fan of Halo, I wouldn't have paid the 2k for that suit in Corey's position. It's got a real niche appeal; that seller would probaly have way better luck on Ebay. lol im working on my own armor right now. he probably alone spent at least $150 on building it. let alone the painting and everything else. i think it is worth at least $600. maybe not $2000 because for that price, you can find some made better... or someone who can make it better. if you want to make halo armor. visit 405th.com. they have lots of tips on how to make it in the $100-200 range.its easy but takes a long time.

He's missing the back of the calves, the cod piece, and the lights are too bulky and a single set. A good beginner piece, but he shouldn't have expected $2000 for it. I would say the $100 is too low as well, I'd go with $300 to $600.
I was referring to the leg and helmet armor. I suppose that I didn't word my thoughts properly.I don't have any vids showing my armor because I don't have very much right now. It's mainly because I cant make up my mind on what to make. I have a few pieces of the armor from Reach fiberglassed. Since money is kinda tight right now, I am considering using cardboard to make a simpler suit. I also have a M-392 bondo'd and I am currently working on cleaning it up. I will try to get a couple vids up.
I think it looks pretty damn good. For a fan made suit. It moves really well when he wears it too. But I am pretty sure it wouldn't sell for THAT much. Maybe a few hundred...

lol im working on my own armor right now. he probably alone spent at least $150 on building it. let alone the painting and everything else. i think it is worth at least $600. maybe not $2000 because for that price, you can find some made better... or someone who can make it better. if you want to make halo armor. visit 405th.com. they have lots of tips on how to make it in the $100-200 range.its easy but takes a long time.

i am well aware of that. and i can tell you thats WAY too much to spend if you are making it. and i said at LEAST due to the part that they were asking to by it for $100-200. a helmet alone can just be $150 to make. let alone the rest of it. i was just saying that instead of paying $2000 for it, its a lot cheaper to make it.

He's missing the back of the calves, the cod piece, and the lights are too bulky and a single set. A good beginner piece, but he shouldn't have expected $2000 for it. I would say the $100 is too low as well, I'd go with $300 to $600.

I was referring to the leg and helmet armor. I suppose that I didn't word my thoughts properly.I don't have any vids showing my armor because I don't have very much right now. It's mainly because I cant make up my mind on what to make. I have a few pieces of the armor from Reach fiberglassed. Since money is kinda tight right now, I am considering using cardboard to make a simpler suit. I also have a M-392 bondo'd and I am currently working on cleaning it up. I will try to get a couple vids up.
