  • 3 people Were Watching This On Their iPad 2

  • what happens if you lose the keyboard???

  • this tablet is very promising. My friend got it and after playing around with it and watching him write a bunch of notes after just flicking the tablet on... one of the most convenient tablets around. Tablets are generally so limited in functionality. But the Transformer is particularly efficient as a note taking device and a reading device. As a student, that's a huge plus. I just wish it was a bit smoother as all honeycomb tablets aren't the smoothest devices in the world with a bit of glitch

  • i wish the ces showing of the transformer wasnt so horrible. doesnt even almost do the product justice

  • 0:28 -- that's what she said!!

  • youre in vagas?

  • @upla123 isnt it Vegas

  • Anybody else think he was Asian?

  • @Chris3836 nope, i am from Finland :)

  • @jkkmobile I knew it. I fucking knew it.

  • @jkkmobile i knew it i have been in finland and i know that aksent :P

  • hmmm... That connecting mechanism looked kind of weak. Aside from that though I would love to see this kind of keyboard docking solution for the ipad. Something that transforms it into a netbook.

  • freekin 16 hours ,,,,,,thats the best

  • I know its hands-on... but do you have to be so reckless with it???

  • @shaunu7 Yes, to try to show it's solid.

  • It's Honeycomb and Honeycomb is the shit. Google FTW.

  • @emirilyasov The iPad's processors are made by Samsung.

  • i want win 7 on it

  • @fielmaso get the asus slider coming out at the same time as this

  • But its not a PC, its just a tablet, why not just get a iPad and keyboard case???

  • @channeljemal price maybe? its 400 bucks without the keyboard, and i imagine the keyboard + battery wont be more than 150..

What you get? 16 hours of battery life, honeycomb and keyboard!

  • @desbloqueoblackberry All models come with the keyboard.

  • @channeljemal Because that's just a tablet with a keyboard too?

  • @eyeAMtwinkEE But iPad is way powerful that that thing. Except that battery power, thats awesome.

  • @channeljemal Way more powerful, huh? Let's see.

    Asus eee Pad Transformer:

1GHz dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor

    1GB RAM

    iPad:

1GHz dual-core Apple (but it's made by Samsung) A5 processor

    512mb RAM

According to PCmag, both processors average about equal after being benchmarked.

So then we have memory (RAM). The Asus tablet is the clear winner in the performance sector.

  • @channeljemal More powerful? I hope you cleaned up after pulling those stats out of your ass.

  • Finally just what i what to buy, put it would put my acer Ferrari out of a job and it only a few months old :( so when its out maybe i will wait a bit, but i would so buy this over a normal table any day of the week

  • @emirilyasov a4-5 chip is made by Samsung

  • SUOMI!!!! :D

    hyvä video :D

  • All other Android tablet brands will have this kind of third party keyboard dock.

  • @GoochOwnsYou Why is this marked as spam? It's 100% correct.

  • DUAL BOOT or Just Win 7

  • the end is so cool. Terminator Style :-D

  • There's no way it will run Windows, because it would have to be a CPU like an Atom - which is not supported by (current) Android. But there's still the Memo for Windows users, or of cause, a ton of other netbooks.

  • @MentalFS Why anyone would run windows on a tablet is beyond me. Microsoft themselves have said they don't take tablets seriously and anything using atom chips is going to have shocking battery life compared to ARM.

  • Why doesn't it run Windows... :(

  • @cbader92 I think if you press F5 it'll switch to Windows 7.

  • @cbader92 It would be best if you tested it in a store first, because I'm not 100% sure it will switch to Windows 7....

  • @cbader92 because Windows is a shitty operating system that is extremely bloated, and even slows down computers with the highest specs. Portable devices need lower specs to be portable and cheap, and Windows would run like shit on it.

  • @HondaTRX90 linux-or-mac-fanboy-more-plz?

  • @saphi20 And you're a butt hurt Windows fanboy because I'm right.

  • @HondaTRX90 i use linux too º-º u lost ur point, keep trying, brainwashed mac nerd

  • @saphi20 I use ubuntu, so nice try

  • @HondaTRX90 and i come back to my original "linux-or-mac-fanboy-more-plz?", i use both but more w7 and its way better for now, keep failing plz

  • looks not bad. :)

  • cool review - thanks

  • well. If price is ok, I definitely will buy something like this.

  • @deabru The price will range from 399-699 depending on internal memory 16, 32, or 64.

  • "This is one of the best 10 inches I've seen"

    That's what she said....

  • I dont see the point of the keyboard with Android. I'd rather have Windows 7 on it
