loong story short.

dylan screwed helena over by sueing her for sexual harasment.

Helena's mother disowned her & since helena was poor she lived with alice for a while. then helena went to a relationship with some big shot rich bitch named kathrine. then helena stole money from kathrine and hid it somewhere. she was sent 2 prison & she's just hooking up with her cell mate. helena eventually gets outa prison & then gets t/ money she hid & bails dusty out. & helena leaves the country

@wearepic ACTUALLY, in the Interrogation Tapes, Helena revealed she didn't hide Catherine's money. She used it to piss Catherine off, cause Catherine was a big Republican, so she donated it to lesbian centers, fertility clinics, etc. She also stayed in the country, and bought the SheBar, as well as got back the Peabody fortune. She then started a relationship with Dylan, who had developed real feelings for Helena, and Helena forgave her. Just look on the Wikipedia page if you don't believe me.

@lovelyladynostalgic I was not a fan of the promiscuity and cheating so prevalent on The L Word, but I think they showed these women as very sexual for a reason -- to counter the impression that lesbians are just BFFs who cuddle and kiss but that's it. A male character on the show once said that he found women kissing hot, but that he didn't understand their physical relationship because they couldn't f*ck each other (w/out a penis). I think the creators of the show wanted to dispel that myth.
