I mean he beat Jonathan Borlee by over a second in the 300m yesterday and Borlee has run 44.6 in the 400m. with the 300m from yesterday all he would need to do is slow down to 32 and then finish the last 100m in 11 seconds which should be cake for him.

@25Dleo well even if u do have the fastest 200m runner for highschool doesnt make you the best in the country, our teams power and depth rank is outrageous. i live in VA were the only highschool to win boys and girls state titles indoor and outdoor. the boys are lik 5 time returning champions. but as of now this is a rebuilding year for the boys, and we still won states :D

No, it takes around 10 high or 11 low in the last 100, they don't really slow down too much. Their first 200 meters is about 21 mid and their next 200 is about 22 mid. You have any idea how slow a 13-15 second 100 would look like from an olympic caliber athlete?!

Merrit wouldnt stand a chance against Bolt in the 300. Bolt could run 20.4 for the first 200 which is almost Merrits all out 200 and then just run about 10 flat for the last 100 easy and come through in about 30.4 even if Lashawn ran a perfect race for the 300 it still wouldnt matter. All Bolt would have to do was pace himself with Merrit and then simply pull ahead of him at the end to win. Just completely go off of Merrit and he will have enough energy to break away from him at the end.
