dude 3 weeks of flush is not necessary at all.

flushing is only necessary with chem ferts, but even that doesnt require 3 weeks. 3 weeks of starved plant growth= not good

reduce feed 3 weeks before by all means but dont cut it out totally.

reduce it slowly and slowly until the last couple of days, then flush it with just water.

this is how i do it, get smooth smoke all the time

I think this might be true more light 14 hours because it cant hurt because,the reason behind uneven light cycles can create hermies. 2 weeks is not enough time for the potential of pollen developing, and even more pollenating the female to develope seeds.

if you don't flush it before harvest, it will look black and tarry in your pipe after burned. Also it can be too white if its not been cured right. White & Gray is most desireable.
