That always interested me too about ringing up this size bell. Also I heard about up bells getting water in it too, probley soaking the ringers.

@KDowner94 They rang it down so that they could measure the headstock so that they would be able to drill a hole in it, because at the moment when it rains it gets filled with water... I think that was the reason anyway...

@wcihlelriraym One wonders why they do not just fix the leak or if the C of E prove to be to difficult about it, consider building a little lean to over it? better than filling it up with water one might have thought lol
