just a little info. water when at an undisturbed state when being impacted by you has the hardness of concrete. when jumping into water rivers are allways better because the water surface is allready disturbed there fore it will act like a coushion however undesturbed ponds when hit have the original feeling of landing on concrete because undesturbed water doesn't want to allow a solid object through it. so he'd die in real life even with a river he would have fractured and broken bones
