Fred was a very underrated back. For a player to finish in the top 15 all time rushing stats and have one Pro Bowl shows how missed up their selection was. He had some nice years earlier in the decade where he got snubbed for players on popular teams. That will leave two Gators in the top 15 NFL rushing category.

Which i don't get because he was an amazing leader as well as a player and with all the character problems the jags had it seemed pretty stupid. i am a jags fan but i am mad as hell that they released him.

4-12? Well, the Jets will split with the Pats no problem. And sweep the Bills. So thats 3 wins. And split with the Dolphins. Theres ur 4 wins and I just was talking about in the division. Lets look at the rest of the schedule. Wins: Jaguars, Titans, Bengals, Texans, Raiders, and Saints. No problem with those teams. And the Jets can easily beat the the Falcons and Pathers. So the final record is: 10-6. and that doesn't include the teams the Jets can actually beat.

i completely agree with u sean, its bullshit the Jaguars released Fred. I know this sounds like a pretty big statement, but Fred pretty much built the franchise and put it on his own shoulders. then to just release him like that, after he specifically says he wants to retire with the jags, is a huge insult. and its not like hes a washed up piece of garbage player, hes still pretty good he just doesnt seem like it having to share carries with MJD. still believe in him tho, Freddy T future HOF.
