Greek Hoplites they're just , wonderful , with well aware commander in hand , they could do almost anything in battle. They are very well trained , and well toned with the Greek Courage and Fighting spirit and trust in they're comrades. One dead greek is a great lost to them , not losing a comrade in battle , i think that is what in they're head when they battle . That's why they end the battle with very low Casualties. If i could go back to time , i would really go to battle with them!
@vagos13legend The greeks were heavily outnumbered, but i don't think that really matters if you think about the fact that the greeks soldiers were heavy armoured and long spears compared to light armoured persians with short spears and sword. Even then the persian infantry still hold their ground at marathon and especially at plataea where at the center, mardonius and his 1000 persians fought against the spartans.
@PoitierFrance Their equipment was better than the persians but again the persians were unbeatable .Thats why the greeks used strategies to beat the persians and also the greek hoplites were better soldiers too,The historians say that the greek hoplites was the best soldier of the ancient world
@vagos13legend True, greek hoplites were better soldiers, they were proffesional soldiers and also athletes. Herodotus mentions that the persians while equal in courage and strenght to the greeks still lacked the training skills the hoplites had. They also seemed to lack discipline as herodotus mentions that at plataea the persians would sometimes in small groups or even singly rush toward the greek formation. But they probably did that to impress their commanders.
well turks came and killed your ancestors and took your lands by force..and you could do nothing most of your historical buildings are in Turkey....so fuck it if you can
@famemonster1993 get fucked sand nigger, go pray to muhammad and stay away from our western buildings, your the turk saying "Persians (and) Greeks brothers 4 life"
@teachinggypsy fair enough, so you know; I did the narration am interested in your statement for future reference. Whereabouts are you referring? I can understand that there are a couple stumbles in the video, but a stumble every other 3 minutes or so is hardly the same as every other sentence. So perhaps I am missing your meaning, so if you'd just reference the first issues you had with it then it would be useful.
@Historyisthekey Oops, I didn't mean to offend then. :P You're just going a bit fast and the voiceover is mixed a bit low. It is coming out as a bit too conversational...should be enunciated a bit more clearly I guess. I just had some difficulty following since my accent is not the same as yours.
That's incredible. That quote of what they said of their liberty, was particularly hard hitting. Love your channel and the detail you go to clearly stating everything that happened.
@ConsularCandidate that was the original plan, but the video was already about a week late so I just finished it off with what had. I'll get the whole thing sorted for the Gallic Wars vids
Greeks were dirty, hairy, stinky pedophiles while Persians were dirty, hairy, stinky, camel-fucking homosexuals

What's to elaborate? He's mumbling and tripping over his tongue every other sentence. It's terrible narration.
