the reason babies cry on a aircraft is because of the pressure in the cabin its not the childs fault there ears are popping and because of this the only way they know to get rid of this is by screaming where as us adults do it by swallowing, yawning or sucking on a sweet stuff like tht i am a flight attendant and have this daily lol sometimes i dont agree with parents bringing very young children on to a aircraft but everybody is entitled to there breaks and stuff lol

Probably their first flight and the parents are trying their best to keep the baby calm. Just put your iPod on or ask the mother if she needs any help keeping the child calm. DONE!

I agree that crying babies on a plane are annoying, but sometimes babies have to fly with their parents...it doesn't make the parents selfish or lazy because they bring a baby on board. Sometimes that's their only choice of travel (for example, flying overseas or long distance). And you can't just shut a baby up right away most of the time. I say passengers who are easily annoyed by that should bring a pair of earplugs or headphones just in case.
