  • brings back good momorys of a mate of mine { mad mick } late 70s nice one ...

  • great times ....top band ..

  • Saw Cavan live on Friday here in Finland. The gig was a great one, but to me Lou Cifer did better on Saturday. Of course Cavan is a lot older and did very well for his age. As did Lyndon, Terry and others. Pls note that I'm not a ted or a rocker, i'm a metalhead, but still i like rock'n'roll and teddyboy music.

  • my name is nedene kinsella, don kinsella is my dad. jus wondering if theres any videos with him in on youtube? cant seem to find any. let me no.. cheers x

    Jalis Lahti Rules

    Teddy Boy 1968

  • if CRAZY CAVAN covered a song so they do it 100% better like the original artists. CRAZY RULES OK

  • This takes me back almost thirty years when you would pull out all the stops to see this band live. Records and videos just don't cover how great this band were, live with a audience rocking with them they were the business!

I honestly can't express how good Cavan concerts were.

  • Saw them in '79 at the EDGE in Toronto...people knocking over tables spilling beer and crying in Rock and roll delirium...unbelievable show...

  • BoogalizerPete,

cavan is the messias for all the european teds.

and hey realy knows his classics,

they do a lot of covers but they bring it in the crazy rhythm styl.

THANK CAVAN I'M A TEDDY BOY

  • i'm a dutch ted

  • Igual que Robert Gordon, Cavan tendria que estar al nivel de popularidad de un Bruce Springteen, por ejemplo. El rock and roll clasico estaria bien representado a nivel popular con ellos dos.

  • Cavan is OK! In my country (FINLAND SUOMI) I saw him with The ...Rockers few time as a child. Many say: Baaad mJuuSick, but when I look these old films I see why WE like them! Rock-a-Billy on Helevetin hyvää musiikkia!!!

  • My goodness , have you got a problem with covers??

Cavan would be the first to give credit to the original artist and I can only think they have been misquoted or not even consulted more likely by someone who has no idea about Cavan or their music .

Cavan and the boys are friends of mine and I can tell you that since the late 60's there has been very little need for them to "cover " anyones material.

  • Well, actually Cavan did not rip nothing, the wrong indication of him as author was a mistake done by some dumb guy of French tv "Antenne 2" back in 1982. On his record "Live at the Rainbow" of 1976 (6 years before that show)and in other vinyls is clearly written that the author is Bartholomew.

  • Another European rippin' off black american artists. Has Crazy Cavan never heard Smiley Lewis doing a tune written by Dave Batrholomew named "Real Gone Lover"? I think NOT.

  • Get a life,do a search will you, your the only rip off here, cavan is the best,i have the album live at the rainbow,if you read the back,it will tell you what another poster has already said
