Jesus represents forgiveness and understanding, yet you have christians persecuting christians attacking slandering turning a blind eye to the beliefs of others when those that call themselves christian should be inviting these people into their home, accepting them as brothers, not rivals. I see very few true christians; Desmond Tutu is one I suggest all read about this great man.

Well hey, congratulations on rededicating your life. It is good that God told convicted you and told you to let your heart be in line with the words you were singing. So many times, people go through the motions; preaching, singing, and so on -- but they are dead, they don't have the Spirit within, and they are 'playing' church. WE have got to get back to the cross and pray conviction upon those that are going through the motions.
Thank you. I'm glad it happened. Since then, God has seen fit to throw me challenges of bringing extended family and friends to him. Still working on some, others are saved. My grandmother is a decan in her church, and said she was glad i was given an evangalistic spirt so that people would not feel like it was being shoved down their throats, but merly an invitaition to a better life.

Now, to get to the point: The Passion is based off of a real life situation. There are "true story" movies put out every once in a while that are so profound, but yet may have some disturbing footage... But if it is something children need to see, then it is the parent's discretion.
Also, yes, The Passion was Rated R and there are MANY christian parents that will not allow their children to watch the movie because of the blood. But, in the same breath that you curse The Passion, you'll likely say you enjoyed 300 or Saw I-IV, right? Of course, those are "pop-culture" movies, so every young person should watch them, right? Because, they are "in" and you have to watch them to be cool.
So, could you tell me, since you stereotype "christians" -- what movies have
you heard me protest? Guarding a child's eyes from things they should not watch STARTS IN THE HOME. I'm going to take a wild shot and guess you're either an atheist, agnostic, or you're at least sided with Atheism. How do I know?
Your mind has been manipulated. If you watch and listen very closely, no matter how educated or uneducated an Atheist is; they will say things that are untrue and the poison that spews out of their mouths creates nothing but negative energies (hate, anger, etc)
In closing, I'm not a fan of religion. Religion causes wars. Religion kills. Religion is -- Atheists, Muslims, Extremists (in any 'belief'), and so on. Religion breeds hate. And I'll agree, there are "SUPPOSED" christians that do the same thing. I say supposed because, if they have not love, they're not serving God and they're not really christians.

Just a few things to remember:
1) Only 1 way to heaven and thats accepting Jesus as your personal savior.
2) Sin keeps us out of heaven
3) In the book of James, we understand that to know to do good and to not do it, it is sin.
4) We know that we're not saved by works of man but by grace through faith and because of the blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ.
Its not for me to judge you, however, it is your responsibility to work out your salvation with the Lord...Do you follow that which he asks?

What it means to be a Christian?
Being Christ's ambassadors. We are to be as Jesus was on this earth. We are God's policemen, His representitives. We are to heal the sick, set the captives free and bring them to God so that they too can become sons and daughters of the living God.
This is what Jesus died for. He is worthy of all our lives and all our praise!

this is an awesome video but to those who are watching this and think it is brutal remember that the passion dosent show how brutal it really was the bible isnt really clear but through research we can kinda get an idea of how brutal it was for Jesus to pay the price for our sins then imagine this punishment on you if Jesus had not died for our sins we would never be able to be close to God so this pain that Jesus endured just remember we deserve it but he loved us so much he took it for us

I agree, if they are talking about Jehovah, the one true living God, then it should be capitalized. Otherwise, you can use little g because for some, money is a God, others serve other false Gods such as the God of Islam, Allah (all lies)... So, they can use little g all they want on them, but when talking about our Creator, it's probably best to give him the big G since HE IS the big G. :)

I totally agree. It is also a sign of respect and exalts Christ. On an earthly level it is also a name. I spell my name with a capital so why should I not spell God's name with a capital?

While there are many that give a black eye to "christianity" there are a remnant of people who are truly serving the Lord with everything that's within them and we strive to do the work of the King as he has commissioned us to do. With every good thing, there is definitely a fair share of bad to try and be counterproductive to the good. However, Christ didn't die in vain and we're seeing the Holy Spirit really starting to rise up in some people in these last days. Praise the Lord!

Those that take the word of Jesus and misrepresent it in order to persue personal agenda and label it 'God's will'. Jesus represents forgiveness and understanding, yet you have christians persecuting christians attacking slandering turning a blind eye to the beliefs of others when those that call themselves christian should be inviting these people into their home, accepting them as brothers, not rivals. I see very few true christians; Desmond Tutu is one I suggest all read about this great man.

Well hey, congratulations on rededicating your life. It is good that God told convicted you and told you to let your heart be in line with the words you were singing. So many times, people go through the motions; preaching, singing, and so on -- but they are dead, they don't have the Spirit within, and they are 'playing' church. WE have got to get back to the cross and pray conviction upon those that are going through the motions.

Thank you. I'm glad it happened. Since then, God has seen fit to throw me challenges of bringing extended family and friends to him. Still working on some, others are saved. My grandmother is a decan in her church, and said she was glad i was given an evangalistic spirt so that people would not feel like it was being shoved down their throats, but merly an invitaition to a better life.

( i know it's young, my dad and mom were shocked when i said thats what i wanted to do, and my pastor wasn't sure if i was old enough to understand the expanse of it, but when i answered all his uestions and he listened to my reasoning, he baptised me :]) so I've loved my lord for a very long time. This video is heart rending. The suffering of Christ for our sins is more than what was portrayed in this movie. I can't help but thank the Lord for His great mercy. He gave His Son for Us. What a Savior! Praise Jesus.

Oh yea so true! I mean, lets let kids watch the Wizard of Oz where the house lands on the witch and kills her and then Dorothy melts another one. I mean, after all, we know that's real life, right? lol
Now, to get to the point: The Passion is based off of a real life situation. There are "true story" movies put out every once in a while that are so profound, but yet may have some disturbing footage... But if it is something children need to see, then it is the parent's discretion.

Also, yes, The Passion was Rated R and there are MANY christian parents that will not allow their children to watch the movie because of the blood. But, in the same breath that you curse The Passion, you'll likely say you enjoyed 300 or Saw I-IV, right? Of course, those are "pop-culture" movies, so every young person should watch them, right? Because, they are "in" and you have to watch them to be cool.

Your mind has been manipulated. If you watch and listen very closely, no matter how educated or uneducated an Atheist is; they will say things that are untrue and the poison that spews out of their mouths creates nothing but negative energies (hate, anger, etc)

In closing, I'm not a fan of religion. Religion causes wars. Religion kills. Religion is -- Atheists, Muslims, Extremists (in any 'belief'), and so on. Religion breeds hate. And I'll agree, there are "SUPPOSED" christians that do the same thing. I say supposed because, if they have not love, they're not serving God and they're not really christians.
I don't force my beliefs on anyone,I compel all to listen, but ultimately,the decision is between you and God and I'll think no less of you.

Let me correct you by saying that atheism is NOT a religion. Atheism is not a philosophy, it is not a belief system, it is simply a lack of belief in god(s). It is a response to theism.
I assume you don't believe in the tooth fairy (although once you believe that there are gods and devils i suppose anything is possible). Is your a-toothfairism a religion?
