@rowanll281 this unit wont plug straight into a pc. youll need a usb interface. behringer makes a pretty okay one for about 25 bucks. i use it all the time
I had one of those once. It was extremely noisy. It may have just had a defective tube, considering how touchy tubes are. I contacted their tech support and their tech support was very responsive, so that's good, but I didn't want to mess around with it so I just returned it and got the Behringer tube pre-amp instead. I'm not sure how the quality compares between the two, but the Behringer unit was nice and quiet and sounds good.

Ya think if i use this as a DI box for live playing it will take some of the harshess out of my piano sound....?

@guitardbucket From what I've heard, it has to do with the tube. The Sovtek and Tung Sol tubes seem to be popular replacement.
