@SpadesHeart oh yes - there are several major differences -among the biggest is that the Mk2 introduces quartz locked speed control and also a brushed dc motor instead of a servo one - if you can find one, definitely try to jump on it - look at vinyl engine for the more specific stuff - good luck :)
