@AssassinSkills This might be a little late, but I've done extensive research on both The JG and D-Boy versions of the M16-A4, and it comes down to this: If you know enough about internals and gearboxes to be able to shim and upgrade then by all means get the D-Boy due to its full metal upper and lower receiver. However if you don't and just want a good gun that will satisfy you Go with the JG, where it lacks in aesthetics and a metal body it makes up in a good shim job and quality internals.

@titRIPPER26 JG series AEG's can go to about 150 to 200 feet depending on how new your gun is and how well you polish the barrel. only JG mags can fit into JG rifles to be sure. You can modify other magazines, but it is not a good idea. JG mags do fit other guns though, but buy JG just to be sure.

@julesoc14 m16a2 has no removable carrying handle. The m16a4 has a remoavable carrying handle. The m16a4 also tends to have a RAS/RIS system attached instead of the circular handguards and heatshields. For the real m16a4's, they have an integrated lubrication system on the bolt (newer versions as of 2009) that allows the bolt to self- lubricate and remain smooth for longer periods of time in the field. Basically though, an m16a4 is and m16a2 with a removable carrying handle.

@freezzy3 It is removable, but you need a lot of tools. If you're removing it, it must be for a red dot sight. If you are, just get an elevator or a higher scope mount. Magnification scopes can see right through the front sight.

Yes but I wouldnt use a 9.6, its pry a bit to strong for this gun, at least on full auto. I have used a 9.6 on semi before, and its fun as hell, great distance with a 9.6

I didnt have a problem with the cover panels. This gun is great. Ive had it for 5 months and works fine. I suggest buying a tightbore prometheus inner barrel though.

Also you should buy a grenade launcher for this like an echo 1 long version all you do is attach it to the rail!!! also i found a shell instead of 70 dollars it was a 63 round shell THE MOST POWERFUL OF ANY SHELL and it is only 40.00 dollars on the kapowwe website and is called "ego m203 grenade shell" for 40 dollars i think that would make your gun a whole lot better and the launcher and grenade would cost only 160 without shipping!!1

ive seen various reviews of this weapon, and some of them when put on "auto" it fired fully automatically, and others fired the usual 3-round burst. I ordered mine from AirsoftGi and im pretty sure it's the same as yours so if you've fired your M16 yet, is it full auto or 3 round burst?

when i first got mine i shot it for a while and it got jammned.. the later i kept shooting and shooting and it got unjammed but later that day i shot it the railing unscrewed and the spring came out and so did the barrel and it never went bak... its fun but it breaks

No shit its inaccurate compared to the real steel. The real steel is a fucking Rifle. If you are talking about the "All Metal" version, then yeah it is, but you know, all of these wobble problems can be solved very easily. Simply move your carrying handel a bit more forward, so that part of it is on the RIS, this is insure that there is no more barrel wobble.

the RIS of this gun wobbles like hell...and the RIS is very inaccurate compared to that of the real steel...I sold mine 2 days after getting it...i've owned several JG guns and this M16A4 is the worst...if you've got cash, go get an A&K M16A4 All-Metal instead..
