  • we have to sew numbers on the front and back of our leotards before our exams. I hate it! lol

  • wow such good dancers like it! but the girl in the pink tutu looks like she is not yet strong enough for any exercises...

  • You guys should take a video of lower grades too! i would like to see

  • @girlthatlaughs, we have it in our plans. Thanks for your interest and encouragement. We also like your idea to make some videos yourself, and look forward to seeing them soon. Be creative!

  • @victoriaballet1 Thanks :) I won't be recording videos but they'll be like, text. Lol, idk

  • Is Lisa beside Nastia?

  • For their ballet exam, why do they exchange their ballet shoes for jazz like shoes?

  • @girlthatlaughs Hi, what they are wearing is Character Dance shoes. Character dances are historical dances which are part of ballets. For example when you watch The Nutcracker and you see the Russian dance or the Arabian dance. Character dance is part of what our students have to learn to be able to complete their studies and obtain their diploma as Artistes de Ballet. By the way this December we are presenting the Nutcracker at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts!

  • @victoriaballet1 Thanks :)

  • They are very good. Is that how long a ballet exam lasts?

  • @girlthatlaughs Yes, ballet exams consist of several parts: barre, centre and corner and it is that long! Besides they also do the part that corresponds to Character Dance. Thanks for your comment!

  • They dance so beautifully and graceful!!

  • im their age now, and i could have been doing what they're doing :( how i regret dropping out

  • I WISH I COULD GO TO THIS SCHOOL!! :((

  • @victoriaballet1 if these are your students then they are very good!!!! Especially in the first barre exercise!!!!!!! ;)

  • @Hatorixthin. Thanks for your comments, our students train in an environment of friendship and collaboration, besides the obvious fact that their training is hard and exhausting, they are happy and their joy and beuty comes out in their dancing...

  • they are so good ..!:) how old are they?

  • @alizoula Hi, this students are about 14 years old. They are in grade 9. Imagine the potential!

  • I never got how people hold their legs in a backscale split of vertical split without holding them. My leg just falls back down however hard I try.

  • the music is beautiful! & so is the dance!

  • "Being skinny is not the most important thing in ballet" The most important things in classical ballet: Flexibility(physical constraints) and being skinny(pretty)+ intelligence! Belive me- I'm a master :-)

  • @IndiaHicks1 , when I did ballet, I always had one leg bent because I have knocked-knees. I don't know if that's why her leg is bent but it could be a reason.

  • 01:13 how can i be as flexible and skinny as the girl in the middle? oh how i wish i was good at ballet :'(

  • @animallover2297 Being skinny is not the most important thing in ballet. What really matters is the ability to touch people's hearts through dance.

  • @victoriaballet1

But being skinny won't do any harm :)

  • @animallover2297 take a ballet class, it's not rocket science. They didn't just go to class and were good, they practiced.

  • @ModBeatnikGirl i do take ballet! my teacher doesnt say how to lose weight. what to eat. how to have skinnier legs.i know they practiced

  • @animallover2297 just because a dancer is skinny doesn't mean that she is a good dancer. take that into note :)

  • thats not an excuse, lol

  • how old are they and how long have they been on pointe?

  • The one on the far left at the begining it looks like when she had her legs close turned out that her left leg was bent not straight.Just something I noticed.

  • lovely and well-trained

  • I see impecable technique and beautiful turnout, but i don't see dancers.

  • @Ballet4Everz, they perform a ballet exam, not a theatre show.

  • @victoriaballet1 Um, no... duhh! I can see that.

  • Comment removed

  • @Ballet4Everz This is academic ballet, not a performance. The dancer/artist "becomes" after they finish training.

  • @Ballet4Everz Most exams are split into different sections, including a Barre part. The "dancing" happens during Centre work. The teachers need to see that the students know proper technique, strength, and posture before "dancing" is even allowed.

  • I go to that school to

Anyone who wants to do ballet should go to Victoria ballet acadamy

  • That's my school!!!!!!!!!

  • @everythinggirly3 if you really try then you have a great chance. And yes, there are girls who are about size nine ;)
