  • The fence is a risky obstacle! Anyway, for myself I've found that getting some high altitude is the best way to adjust the trims. Get the plane up high enough were you can correct the fly pattern and quickly make adjustments with the trims. After a few adjustments you should be able to get the plane to straighten out and fly correctly. Also, early morning or evening with no wind is the best time to test fly!

  • Thanks for the input. I thought about trying to adjust the stick movement and I think I can do that with my Spektrum DX 6i but I was concerned that if I had to move it drastically I would not have that capability. I am a newbee at this hobby and I have tried to train a lot on the simulator but it cannot teach you the fine details of your plane, only the generalities of how to fly, which I am grateful for. The other videos that you watch make it look easy but it is not from my experience.

  • first thing you need to do is adjust the control throws to calm the plane down a bit for you till you get used to its tendencies
