Hi, thanks very much for the video, very interesting. I have a few questions - how long will roasted coffee beans last before they go 'off'. Does the coffee taste better if the beans used have been roasted in the last couple of hours, rather than the last couple of days ?
Nice tour. Thanks for posting! Its great to see a domestic company using domestic equipment. Diedrich is a time tested company that only puts out the best quality. We had the chance to see them at the SCAA Coffee Fest in Seattle and they are every bit a class act. Best of luck to you!
It's pretty amazing how very small our gas bill is every month--suprising really. Plus, a catalytic oxidizer is 65% more efficient than conventional afterburners. Best part? We've never ever received a complaint about smoke or odor, because there just isn't any. I suppose it's all relative to where your business is, and what might be the biggest priorities...clean air, or fuel consumption...something has to win, and we all hope we're moving in the right direction!
Impact on the environment is minimal? How about the gas used to fire that catalytic afterburner. I'd argue the particulate from a roaster is less harmful than the fuel required to run one of those "clean" oxidizers.
if i may ask how much is the roaster for? thanks
