@msammy07 do u mean kids in general? cuz im 14 and appreciate awesome classic rock and all things rock, old stuff like the who and led zepplin, aerosmith and guns n roses
Love it! I always thought the sound quality of their early recordings sucked but this looks like it was done yesterday. Nothing better sounding than an SG plugged into a cranked Marshall stack.
@0505JESUIS thanks for the share JJ -- great tune! Seriously JJ, are you so desperate that you have to resort to using your fake Janet (single mom from France -- who is not a lesbian -- ha ha) channel to get to her. Give it a rest -- you've done enough damage already. How do you sleep at night? Oh I forgot, it's hard to do without your nanny. BTW -- merry christmas - jeez!!
What a fabulous stab from the past!!!! This is sooo good. Now I just need to find some live footage of Armageddon, maybe a little Warpig and Captain Beyond!!!
When I heard this I was like ill have to find out which album its on and get it but it turns out I already have it! it even has this version and the video on it.
Great post here. Have loved the original lineup from day 1. But what happened to Tony? His great guitar was the first thing that got my ear. Sorry but it sure was not Burke's vocals. Thx 4 sharing this rare gem.
I have to disagree, yes Tony was great on guitar, but Burke's a fantastic singer, as good at soul as rock, as you can hear in the first part of this song.
Wish there was more good-quality live footage of Budgie around. Such a great band!!

This is a band that deserves to be in the RR Hall of fame, and its a shame that they will never be.

One of the best consistent live bands in the 70s and 80s and deserved wider recognition than they received.

Its not that the kids dont like it as much as the kids dont understand good music.

Live @ Old Grey Whistle Test, the wellish Budgie presents om BBC broadcast, such a moisture of funky with hard blues on a bed.
So fine!

I recon the dislike crew are the impatient people who never got to the 2 minute mark. Great footage, great sound, great three piece.

if the vocals suit the music which - they do - that can sometimes define a 'good' voice and is this case i think it does

Great band.
At 3:26 it says their debut album is called Lines. That's wrong, it's called Budgie.
