The most accurate account of operations in North Africa I have ever read. The actions of the LDG are heroic as their sacrifice shall not be forgotten. Well done.
after casserin battle patton bloched el nayir passage and destroeyd the 88's with 150 mm artilliery.. patton read romel adn turned him back to kirinia
If you are thinking about buying this book, remember that it is FICTION - a novel.... not a non-fiction history. I made that mistake when I bought it, thinking it was a factual history of the plots to kill Rommel.
Just bought this book and cannot wait to read it. Try out two books by Jeff Shaara - The Steel Wave and The Rising Tide. Both these books led me to Killing Rommel. Great way to learn your history.
The book maybe fiction, but the SAS and LRDG were all too real, Thanks finally an accurate depiction of the " Desert Raiders ".

in the past , it was chivalrous no to fire at the leading commander, general. he was brave, leading and vulnurable.
no big deal to get him, rather cowardice!
sell books, missinforn with wishful fiction fusing into history , not worth a cent.

This book is bull shit. Rommel committed suicide under hitlers order for opposing him in an attempt to assassinate him.
