I actually recently saw Dorman have his piano concerto "Lost Souls" perform with the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra. He was there for most of the rehearsals working through the orchestra and it was pretty cool. Anyways, I extracted the audio from this video into an mp3 file. I put it up on mediafire but youtube isn't letting me post the link so if you want it you'll have to message me. Cheers!
I live in the Dallas area and that's the exact station I heard it on. I clicked on the link and it just sent me to a page where I could buy recordings the NYP have made but not this exact one. Unless I'm just not seeing it. The search continues...

Likewise. Saw them Thursday. I sat there the whole time with a silly grin on my face. Amazing.

You can listen to the performance again on the Philharmonic's official website. Did you enjoy the Bartok?

Wonderful--a long way from the earlier 1995 piano concerto--the style of writing has evolved into a special language.
