The Bush Administration escalated the search for Bin-Laden to its current (until a few weeks ago) state. Obama did very little to change it; he was just the guy in charge when the search succeeded. So it is perfectly acceptable to give Bush the credit that you can give to a President for something like this.Truman dropped the bomb. Did he design it or fly the bomber? Obama got a lucky break on his failing at closing Gitmo. When asked if he wanted to bomb it or send in a Navy SEALs he decided ( contrary to what you may believe of our "bold hero") to send in the SEAL team. He did his required job but did nothing exceptional. The CIA & SEALS did. Obama approved something that was already planned out.
It can easily be said Bush simply wasn't looking. They both deserve credit for the roles played, but neither president is responsible for this hit.

@AnFhirinne Uhm... I'm pretty sure the requirement is "natural born citizen", not "native born citizen". A lot of people confuse the two. For example, McCain is a natural born citizen, but he's not a native born citizen.

@sinistar99 I actually don't consider myself a member of any political party simply a patriotic American. We haven't seen much good and it appears to be getting worse. Not that this is my wish, I wish the opposite, success, no more debt, an actual workable health-care system and people all able to afford basic needs and even a little more. I pray for this country I love daily.

@AnFhirinne Well let me help you feel better then. Instead of losing 700K jobs per month (with the last guy), now this country is actually gaining jobs. That's after 8 years of accumulated negative job growth! Now most people pay less for HC premiums and more people are covered. The media ignores Obama's boring successes and focuses on anything "contraversial." He hasn't fixed the whole mess Bush made instantly, but give him time we're on the right track.

Busted! I too could cherry-pick & find periods where private sector job growth was up by 4 or 5 million under Bush, I choose to remain among the rational. Needless to say, private sector job growth was at least slightly positive over Bush's eight-year term, Not sure where your information is coming from but while under Obama and there are hundreds of reports to see right here in the net... truth is its worst track record in history , thats a fact !

@sinistar99 I've tried to confirm where your getting your information, I couldn't find ONE claim where this is fact that Obama created more jobs in 2010 than Bush did in his full eight-year, dual-recession term. Since Obama has not created a single net-job, in his first 2 years, the claim, as you say,does not appear to be supported. He went to India and claimed 50 thousand jobs. All preplanned & temp Gov jobs building air planes for India, soon India will build there own. End of story.
