I recognise this so well: people sharing their little 'idiosyncrasies' with each other, thinking they're interesting and quirky, when EVERYONE DOES THESE THINGS. On a side note, "Palestine" was never considered a country. The etymology of the word palestine come from the acient "Philistines" whom were an Aegean people whom settled on the mediteranian coast in the 12th century. The word philistine pronounced "steen" comes from the hebrew word Pelištîm, from Pelešet. Or Philistia which was an ancient trade route between Syria and Egypt.

However, there is an exception to the rule. And specifically pertains to those who are born from a Jewish mother. (Regarding the father the importance of him being jewish is relative. It's not that important) But if a woman whom is Jewish,(Not a convert) but comes from an ancestory of Jewish women has a child that child, girl or boy, is Jewish REGARDLESS of whether they practice, learn to speak hebrew, or attend synagogue (a latin word meaning "to bring together").

Judaism does not condone conversion. That is why there are 800 million Christians 700 million of them converts, and only roughly 14 million Jews.
You CAN convert, it's just that the religion it'self has parameters of which conversion is not condoned, meaning we don't go out looking for new members. If you happen to want to join. You must commit yourself to the task of studying the Torah(Talmud). However in Israel Judaism IS a "Nationalism" because the entire country is a Jewish state.

Both your last two presidents have often called your nation 'America'. Were they wrong? I was also just trying to keep things concise. I was only 10 or so characters of the limit. In the end what I said was not ambiguous and if you really want to nit pick, United States could be Mexico or USA.
And finally I was responding to another person who said Americans are from America, so on all accounts you are wrong. Just because they come from Jerusalem doesn't make them Jewish.
