@EllisFitz1995 the first few months of training will piss you right off mate, its called the bullshit factor. Its not so much the physical side of it, you know thats gonna be hard but a lot of people arnt ready for the mind-numbing shit they throw at you. Just keep ya head down and do as your told, and it's a doddle. Good choice though pal, and best of luck

you have to be a uk citizen for at least 5 years before doing that though. it is possible yes, but because of the change you might be restriced to a certain number of jobs. nothing personel.

i listen to this about 50 times a day, it is my source of friend if u want to call it that. really helpful.

royal marine training is the hardest thing i have ever done. the final 30 mile march over dartmoor nearly finished me. this video is correct in every sense, my legs, shoulders, back, head, chest and arms were screaming and on fire throughout that march. but id do all again for that green fuckin beret in a heartbeat

im no wannabe man i can assure you, and yeah swimming is a major part of training. just head down to your local pool or somthin cos you need to be a fairly good swimmer.

defiantly mental, physical isn't so bad because you get used to it while your there, don't get me wrong it is still hard, but the mental side is a real challenge.

when your in training just focus, some days you will feel like you just wanna give up and pack it all in but dont, just hang in there and it is the most rewarding thing you will experience.

I think you have to be a UK citizen for at least 4 years before you can join the Royal Marines.

I'm not too sure though. Just go on the Royal Marine website and it'll tell you there.
