I just got the game and I got the chain combo skill that allows me to put moves on 2/3 slots for the triggers. What does that do and how do I do it? Do I tap the triggers twice to activate the second move or what?

@reddust5 correct sir. also as you add more skill points to the skill i believe at lvl 6 you'll get another slot to add on another move

I saw almost everywhere that u can have up 2 4 skills in a combo, but ehh my list only go towards 3 for LT and 3 for RT, can u make combo's even with RT after u used the LT ones??

@Iceyluck2 I have tried a couple of combos with lymle, i would use her cerberus plus elemental combos, thats what i do, and it actually works. HOwever its more reliable if they are weak against that element.

You don't understand what Star Ocean does to magic. Go play SO3, and you'll see what I'm talking about. No magic, even at 9999 INT +50% [element] will outclass Maria's Scatter Beam in terms of anything, EXCEPT sucking. Hell, casting in SO4 takes forever compared to SO3's casting, and THAT game's casting was bad!

Are you kidding? Scatter Beam owns EVERYTHING. Point blank Scatter Beam rips bosses to pieces, lots of ppl have vids I think a user called Bananamatic has some vids, Superjolt77 or something like that has vids, so many people have vids of SB. If you add stunlocking from Thunder Flare or something, it is even better.

this video is sooo amazing like what genya said, i just bought this game, yesterday, i was 11 hours into the game, now today im on level 23, its so awesome, i cant wait to master all my magics and arts and combos, its the.. :-) best rpg game ive ever had, this also reminds me of tales of symphonia, abyss and all the other tales series games, i rate this video 100 stars.

really? okey i held down B until the started to flash and i started to move my joystick right or left and nothing still happened. does the character have to lock on the target? i ask because im at that fucking ugly ass big bug down at migsecta or whatever...

You can only do it when you are targeted by the enemy, you will have some kind of crosshair around him/her, press b, then when the crosshair starts to beep red & yellow then you must move the joystick and the character will use blindside.
